We have just enjoyed a week at Camel's Spring apartments in Costa Teguise - a lovely complex in a quiet part of Playa Bastian. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and so relaxed. We felt like it was our 2nd home. Great size bedroom with plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space, kitchen had everything you required in terms of appliances,crockery and utensils. We were in a ground floor apartment with the perfect suntrap terrace with a rear pathway which led down to Playa Bastian beach. The staff were all very nice and accommodating and ensured that we had the perfect, relaxing holiday. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet - just right for couples looking for a relaxing holiday. We will certainly be looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Camel Springs has the potential to be an excellent resort. However it needs a lot of money spent on it through maintenance, e.g. the paint flaking off the swimming pool. The towels we got were threadbare one of them was see through. The bed frames in the twin room were worn and the fabric on them was torn. Good bits, great location close to bars, restaurants and shops but far enough away to be quiet. The receptionist is excellent, very friendly very helpful. The balcony is massive and shielded from the high winds that Lanzarote is known for.

Apartment in need of refurb, very tired and dated. Only one bar of soap size of a domino but thin as after dinner mint. Bedding and towels old and worn out. No duvet just sheet and blanket. Sofas uncomfortable. Pool bar poor, not open for long and closed early.

Absolutely chilled 2 weeks we stayed over the road at Molino the sister apartments. It's obvious some updating is needed but overall a very good 2 star accommodation. Alexandra on reception is so efficient both before travelling and on arrival. As they say location, location location. We have booked for next year at Camel spring as a lot of updating has been done.

Lovely complex let down by management/owners and long term rental tenants. Rooms are very spacious and clean, although you only get one batch of fresh towels per week. There are many many steps so please choose carefully if you are unable to travel up and down multiple flights of stairs. Pool is lovely and warm (heated) however do not dare sit in one of the long term rentals area. Management /owners are very welcoming at the start but their attitude changes once they’ve received your money. Initially I thought it was a culture or language barrier but i soon realised it was their arrogance. Very hostile and very unhelpful. Not suitable for families. Older guests there expect the kids to sit around and be silent. One guest complained that my kids were making too much noise “playing in the pool”. They are kids and are entitled to be there as much everyone else. Shame really as the accommodation is lovely so choose carefully
