Had a fantastic time at club Santa Rosa , lovely atmosphere, great for families and couples , cleaning ladies are fantastic, nothing is too much , restaurant and bar staff fantastic too , went half board and the chef does an awesome roast, you’d need to be really fussy not to find something you liked at both breakfast and evening meal ,all in all a fab holiday, will definitely return

Been to Costa Teguise 6 times and stayed in various hotels! This was definitely the best value for money! Had the best time, normally I can’t sit around the pool as they are so crowded, however here it was a different story. So many sun beds available on all areas around the pool and lots with shade. The pool is a good size and it’s salt water! I didn’t find it cold, some did. We stayed in apartment 1040 and it’s was much bigger than I was expecting and cleaned daily. All in all I would recommend this hotel! Having stayed in the Radison Blue and both Barcelo hotels on the island for what we paid £1000 for a week self catering it’s by far the most budget friendly! I will be coming back!

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, quite an enjoyable stay, we had been given a superior room which was very spacious , not the best view, but the receptionist did tell us this and we had option to change if we didn’t like it, I wasn’t too fussed as we wouldn’t actually be in the room much anyway. I can’t really fault anything that bad, the pool is cold and salty, but that didn’t bother us too much, the cold is quite refreshing when it’s absolutely boiling and you soon get used to it. The pool area is quite big and had plenty of sun beds free, nice food and drink in the pool side snack bar. We ate out every night so can’t comment on the restaurant food, there is a few bars and restaurants right around the hotel too and about a 20 minute walk to the main area of Costa Teguise. All in all, I’d say it’s great value for money and would highly recommend for families and couples that don’t want to spend a fortune going away but still want something nice for their money

Great holiday, rescued from a bad start. We've been 3 times before, but not since 2013 (and had our honeymoon there in 2012), so had high hopes based on the past. We checked into our room, a "Superior Apartment", which had a terrible odour I can only describe as sweaty feet, throughout the apartment - I guess the previous occupant was very sweaty. We opened the doors and bought air freshener, thinking it might pass if aired out, but it didn't. It was too bad, so after 2 hours I went to reception to explain, and they kindly changed my room without any problem. The new room wasn't "Superior", but it was lovely, had all the same provisions except for the sea view, just a little smaller in the lounge and balcony, but plenty large for the 2 of us, and no sweaty odour! The food is buffet, we went half board. There was plenty of variety for breakfast and dinner, and changes each night (local, Mexican, Asian, Italian...), it was very tasty and cooked to perfection. If you want your standard English or continental options you're well covered alongside the theme options. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds (not that we really stopped on them - but no fights for beds to worry about), the pool is seawater and very clean, I saw them cleaning the pool area everyday. There is a little pool bar, though we only had a couple of smoothies so I can't give any real feedback. We used the safe box in our room, secured by a pin of our own setting, its 3euro per day. Location is great, plenty of local restaurants, a store and pharmacy, 5 minutes from Playa Bastian, 20 minutes from town and other beaches (by foot). If it wasn't for the 1st room issue, I'd have given a 5 star, but overall we're very happy and intend to return in the future. Thanks Santa Rosa for a lovely stay, nos vemos!

We stayed at the resort for a week in June 2024 and were very happy with our appartment and the resort. The HPB section probably accounts for about a third of the total site and benefits from some features that are unique to them, most notably the swimming pool, car parking spaces and office. The appartment was on the first floor and had ample size for the 3 of us. There were 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, 1 bathroom, an open plan kitchen with fridge freeezer, single oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. There was a dining table adjacent to the kitchen and a living room that led to the main balcony. There was a large tv and chairs and sofa. The main balcony was a good size with tables, chairs and sun lounges. It might have been a bit tight for 4 of us, but perfectly ok for 3. There was a balcony at the rear bedroom as well but it was very small and had no space for sitting or anything. We had worried about the lack of air conditioning but it was never an issue and we did not have to,use any of the three fans that were provided. It felt warm in the night but never oppressive. Temperature at night was around 20 degrees. At the time of our visit there was a problem with BBC tv signals, as it was not available. It was not an issue for us as we rarely used it. The hob was also problematic and better instructions could have been provided. The internet was very good (HPB rather than resort) and coped well with 3 phones and 3 tablets. Photos transferred very quickly. I noted on reviews of the resort as a whole that there were problems with sun beds adjacent to the main pools and unfortunately this was the case for the main pool. I saw the same gentleman reserving 3 sun beds at 7am every day. There did seem to be some spaces available during the day but if you are in a larger group it could be a problem. If you are staying at the HPB bit then there are no pre-booking of sun beds and there were always spaces available. There is a bar close to both pools and it had a reasonable range and was fairly priced. There were warm snacks and meals, smoothies, cocktails and draught lagers available. I found all the staff there helpful. Indeed, we went down there one evening and the kitchen had closed. The lady cooked us some chips and offered us apple pie and cream. We did not use any of the restaurant facilities there so we cannot comment on them. You could book excursions if you wanted too, but we had hired a car so had no need to do so. HPB also arranged some social events, including a barbeque and visits to local restaurants. The location of the site was ok for us. It is in a quieter area and is about a 15 minute walk from Plaza Pueblo Marinero. Depending on your route it is a fairly flat walk both ways with just one short hilly part. The good news is that a taxi was under 3 euros for three of us from there. I would recommend that you go to this area as there is a really good atmosphere and a really good range of eateries. WORTH a read, I e-mailed in advance for a room that had sunshine on the terrace in the afternoon. We were given such a lovely 2 bedroom near the pool, modern and very clean 1024, quick easy and informative check in. We arrived and went straight to dinner 7-9pm. We found this hotel so relaxing, the staff were so friendly especially Rodrigo in the restaurant. Entertainment was fun especially the BINGO, they could do with more family quiz in the evening. Great bowling and pool area. It's on a great bus route and a 10 minute walk to the square or 4 euro taxi ride. The market is on in the square on a Wed and Fri night worth a visit for the buzz. We also did an awesome boat trip on Katfish boat, highly recommend it. The reason I have given a 4 star and not a 5 is because the evening food wasnt great, they recycle alot of breakfast stuff. Breakfast has been great. The hotel star and photos don't do it justice, clean hotel, love the salt saline pool and its not as cold once you jump in, inflatables and balls allowed. Lanzarote can be windy so pool pegs are needed. We have loved our week here. The rooms have a fridge with a small freezer, a separate washing line outside your room, laundrette on site. Supermarket right on the corner. Perfect resort. I would definitely book here again.

This was our 1st family holiday in a few years and our 1st time.taking our children abroad. All I can say is Santa Rosa did mot disappoint. The 1 bed bungalow was overlooking the pool by the swings. Was such a great view. The room was really nice. Good size and with a hire fan we slept fine. Staff are friendly and the entertainment team are good fun. The claners also do a good job. Breakfast was nice. Dinner was good but we enjoy eating in different places so we did eat out 3 times just for a change. Pool was lovely. Yes it's cold when you first get in but when it's hot it's very much needed. My only suggestion would be that the staff in the restaurant aren't so quick in taking your plates as soon as we have finished eating. It did make.us feel rushed..My daughter went to get a drink and they took her breakfast plate when she hadn't finished her food. She wasnt impressed they threw her doughnuts away Overall we had the best holiday. If you are thinking of booking then do it.
