Apartamentos Celeste

Where to start! Celeste apartments are ideally located in the heart of CT. We stayed in a superior room in block 2 which if you book you pay more money as these apartments have been refurbished to a very clean, modern standard with what you need for a holiday which includes a microwave, hob, utensils, plates, washing up liquid, tea towel plus more. The cleaners do a fantastic job and change towels every 3 days, and bed linen every 7 days. If you are in an apartment downstairs be prepared to hear the noise of chairs and furniture being moved across the floor which can be quite annoying if you want an early night or a lie in bed in the morning. The downside of Celeste is that people who are staying in other blocks for example 1 or 3 are allowed to come and use the pool in block 2 ( apparently because it is the warmest) the gate key all guests are given fits all blocks. Now, we found this very annoying as there were people from other blocks coming in and putting their towels on sunbeds and also having friends from other hotels into the complex which for us was a security issue and is totally unfair to those who had paid more for a superior room in block 2. People also had music around the pool which is totally unacceptable, Celeste should be a little more tolerant than to allow this. When we complained to reception their response was to say that they could not do anything until after 10 pm which is laughable as reception is closed at 7 pm. We kindly asked several people to turn it off or down which they adhered to luckily enough. Celeste staff should be aware that people want a relaxing time around the pool area and not a disco. Maybe have a rule that music should not be played as this can upset other guests'stays. I also think that guests should have sunbeds on their terrace which would be an added bonus as not everyone wants to lie around the pool when you have your own lovely terrace to lie on. Celeste just needs to rethink their rules a little and maybe this place would be worth another visit but until then we will not be returning which is a shame as it is only these few points that let our whole experience/stay down.

We stayed a nice apartment had own balcony with own sunbeds We spent 12 days nice Dated but very clean Receptionists well nice they couldn’t do enough for you cleaners came in everyday Left spotless I would definitely go back we were in block 3

Delightful apartment in block 3 which was adults only and I was a solo traveller. Needs updating but perfectly functional and everything one needs. Cleaned regularly and towels changed very frequently and patio brushed every day. Staff were friendly and I felt very secure at it is gated. Near facilities- restaurants and square and beach and location is ideal. I was there December for 30 days and I would recommend it as basic but very good value for money

Celeste Apartments: Great location, close to the beach, square, and various shops and bars. Although the apartments had good balconies and were generally relaxing in the evening , some nights were disrupted by noisy neighbours blasting music from evening to early hours.Despite contacting staff, there was little support in managing the noise. Otherwise the place was as silent as a library- nobody spoke or laughed during the day, there was no excited laughter from kids or anything. You felt like you had to whisper. The apartments in block one are dated but this didn’t bother me. If you are used to staying in hotels then you might be disappointed as there are no frills. They are spacious and have all you need for a week. Positive Aspects: Fantastic location, great bars and restaurants nearby , pleasant staff. Negative Aspects: Noise issues at the apartments by neighbours , and a deep tiny pool with a glass wall around it which was off putting. We would not return and I would say it’s best suited to older solo travellers/couples.

We just returned back to Liverpool, after a five day stay (0n the 5 December ) in Celeste apartments and the place is spotless , the housekeeping does a fab job ,And the staff in reception were lovely very friendly place ,we stayed in 304 fab apartment with a sunny all day balcony and even your own sun loungers

These apartments are amazing. They are central within the town of Costa Teguise, really near the main shopping areas and beach. Even though they are so central, they are still quiet enough for rest and relaxation. They have a choice of 3 pools, the apartments are generous sized and many have been upgraded to really modern. Beds are comfortable, balconies are safe and everywhere is scrupulously clean. Reception has a lovely library where you can exchange books and the staff provide sachets of coffee, tea and some biscuits in the apartments. This is the best value for money I've ever had on holiday and I'll most certainly be back.
