Costa Mesa Hotels with Swimming Pools

This was booked as part of our California road trip. We were able to book in early, which was a real plus, however we found the room to be very dark and it smelt damp. It was a good size and had a full size fridge. The carpets however were filthy!! We all had showers and within minutes of walking around barefoot our feet were black!! Our kids used the pool, which was fenced off in the middle of the car park. It had ample seating around it, but it certainly wasn’t the cleanest. The hot tub was green in colour. We had an issue with our sink, which made it unusable. It took 2 phone calls to reception to get this sorted. The hotel was well positioned for Newport and Huntington. It’s on a busy road, but there are good restaurants and shops around. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Its dated and needs a good clean.

The hotel offers an airport pick-up service, but it is recommended to call the front desk. Because the airport is small, the hotel shuttle does not always run between the airport and the hotel. The service is good, the room space is relatively large, but it seems that there is no bottled water in the room.

We stayed a night for president’s day weekend. We checked in around 8 PM and were greeted by excellent service from their front desk specialist, Alexander. Alexander was quick to get us checked in and truly helped us feel welcome. I can say it was one of the best check in experiences I have had. He was able to provide all pertinent info we needed and promptly direct us to our room. We found our room very clean and ready for a relaxing evening after a day on our feet. We recently stayed at the property after a two-year absence due to our disappointment with the former management team in general and with one of the front-desk managers in July 2022. We took the risk to stay again at the property mainly due to its great location, notably the nearby South Coast Plaza shopping malls and the Segerstrom Center for The Arts. We enjoyed our stay at the property. We were very happy with the new management team and their staff. Overall, they all appeared professional, courteous, and effective. We noted that the restaurant - especially the quality of the food - had been greatly improved: we had one of the best margaritas during our visit in southern California and that the housekeeping service was very good: always on time and responsive to our daily needs in a timely manner. In addition, we enjoyed the swimming pool; it seemed that there was a good team managing the pool: the temperature was perfect and the water was always clean.

I had booked a king suite room for one night for my son, my husband and I. when I walked in I totally thought I had walked into the wrong room. It was dirty. I have a one year old son whom I didn’t let roam free on the floor because there was a bunch of crumbs, a dried up piece of half eaten bread by the tv stand, and just a bunch of trash in the floor. I took pictures as well.

Service environment and location are very good The price is just a bit high. Maybe I ordered it late. Personally, I think it’s worth booking for less than 1k. Opposite is the south coast shopping mall And the ocma museum is free.

Checking in in the middle of the night, there were people at the front desk, very touched, the room was very cold, and the air conditioner was not working at 32 degrees Celsius. The bath water is also very cold. Health is OK. At 9 o'clock in the morning, an aunt came in directly, saying that because her registration form was unoccupied in my room, is that my problem? In case you are in the bath or something, it is not embarrassing.

booked this room for our vacation room was nice and clean, we ate out for breakfast but it was offered thru hotel the room was very spacious and comfortable, housekeeping kept us stocked with supplies toiletries,coffee, Garbage bags, clean towels etc we enjoyed our stay thank you!

The hotel is much better than expected, the facilities are complete and new, and the breakfast is good. Close to the high-speed port, convenient transportation. Stayed at night, the surrounding environment has not been seen, and did not care about taking pictures, so did not give full marks.

This place needs to be shut down. I think they are paying people for positive reviews. I stayed here a few years ago and it was not this bad. When I tried to contact corporate both numbers listed online did not work. There were roaches and some kind of jumping bug I’ve never seen before. The older female that checked me in was rude. I asked to check in early and she said nothing was available. When I said that I’d like to cancel there was a room available. There was a bug on the sheet on the bed and when I asked housekeeping to change it she just gave me a look and seemed like she didn’t speak English. I went to take the sheets off and underneath there was a bunch of food and trash. A different housekeeper came and changed the mattress cover and sheets but there were so many roaches. I think they kind of pick who gets there nice rooms and who gets the bad rooms because it is a huge place. I think there are three or four separate buildings. If you stay here make sure to shake all your things out and disinfect everything. I can’t imagine how many homes have been infested from this place. I cancelled the rest of my reservation and it took a long time to get the refund. Even if you are desperate do not stay here. Sleep in your car. Jail is probably more clean.
