Not a family friendly hotel. There is nothing there for children at all. The website promises a kids club but that was non existent. The pool has nothing enticing and is incredibly deep. Entertainment is mostly German and the young entertainers were not interested in English guests. Overall a shabby hotel. The one shining feature is its proximity to the beach, but even the beach itself has little to offer. The second star is for a lovely man on reception who gave us recommendations. It's really far from anything and incredibly boring. Would not visit again, will be sticking to the north of the Island and to Pierre & Vacances accomodation.

We arrived earlier than normal and asked if we could check in. Luckily our rooms were ready for us, staff were very friendly and the cleaners will come and change your towels and clean your room daily. (Which was amazing) Room- was lovely and had great air con! However at night around 10pm kids would be running past and kept me awake, so would be nice if they had signs up saying respect others in the evening time. Loved the small balcony in the room too. Food - isn’t too bad, however could do with a bit more variety as does get a little boring/repetitive. Pool/beach - The pool was lovely had rails going down either side of the pool and stairs in the middle. The pool had loungers around however people would put towels down and walk away so they could come back later. Even though there were signs up. Entertainment - children entertainment in the evening is very German focused and limited only lasting not even 45 minutes. Would suggest getting a hire car if you want to travel around as you are limited there and isn’t a lot to do, market is on every Sunday I think and is only short 5/10 minute walk away. There is a spar and more shops which is around 25/30 minutes walk away. Overall I unfortunately wouldn’t come back.

On arrival warned not to leave balcony open as intruders are a sure thing to visit you even while you sleep. Paid for a safe and it was faulty locking our belongings in several times (the safe isn't even fixed down either) Found one roach dead on our balcony thankfully. Certain days half the pool is taken over by volley ball and it's not a large pool either and they obviously take the deeper end! Came down at 7am and guests had clipped towels on sunbeds already despite rules clearly saying they can't be reserved. Mostly German guests who are quite rude hogging sunbeds while thier in the rooms or barging in the food lines. Location I must say it's perfect on the beach and we paid for a sea facing room to go to sleep to the sea and wake up to it but with the risk we couldn't sleep soundly or with the door even slightly open wasn't worth the risk. The cocktails were rotten and undrinkable I don't know if they over load them to put you off reordering. No alcoholic drinks in the morning, and no fizzy drinks in the morning. Alcoholic finishes at 11pm then you have to pay. Food was same every day almost only one day did they serve and Spanish food something id expect mainly being that it was in bloody Spain!!! Stews mainly which when its hot isnt what your be wanting to eat. Only 2 coffee machines and german guests seem to only want double shots and 2 cups of it, the machine also only fills just over half a cuppacino. Glasses way to small for soft drinks have to go up 3- 4 times for a meal, we ended up buying our own as it was ridiculous. Shops outside the hotel are rip offs. Get the bus to morrow jable there's much better prices and a even nicer beach. Staff wasn't friendly and spoke very little english. Won't be returning we did go on a couple of trips and tbh I think we would of came home earlier than our 7 day stay if we hadn't of done the trips. Don't bother with this one there is alot better round the world !!!

Great relaxing stay at Taro beach, nothing to complain about. Life was easy over there. Room was clean and nice, bathroom maybe a bit outdated but who cares. Great view from balcony directly to the sea and beach. Food was good with lots of variety. And drinks were available all day long. Great location for long morning walks. Pool area is ok and the animation team very energetic and friendly. I can definitely consider going back!

I have been at this hotel several times so far, and it offers very decent value for money at a very pleasant location and beach front. Staff is accommodating and the food is acceptable for a hotel like this one. The real and very serious downside are indeed the intruders. At two different occasions, somebody tried to break into my hotel room while I was sleeping in there - on the second floor which I had asked for!. I don't know what is worse: The fact that somebody tried to break into my hotel room while I was sleeping in there, or the fact that the hotel does not really care or apologizes to guests for this very serious issue. It seems to have become routine. At several occasions, I heard guests desperately trying to convince hotel staff to call the police after burglaries. Shockingly, there is no professional handling of these break-ins after reporting. Despite these incidents happening and guests reporting them, there is no visible presence of security agents during the night. At my last stay, I literally saw somebody climbing up the walls of the hotels to the upper floors. When reporting it to the reception, I only encountered indifference. No apologies, no checking in with me the next day. I won't be back for this very reason. The risk is too high.

Sadly a very bad time. Food not amazing. Reception friendly and staff but Mr Vega !! Not really a holiday is it.... 95% German capacity who enjoy ignoring no smoking signs, this was constant. Dad has been unwell since our return with the passive smoke and something eaten or drank. Towels are out at 6am so no pool sunbed for me and my 83 year old dad for a week. Hill too steep to the beach for anyone with access ability needs or elderly in my oppinion. 1 hours entertainment on a evening, live spanish guy was amazing but "disco" was comical... Bar staff are polite. Take your german phrase book.

We were very happy with this hotel as a couple. We have been to several all inclusive hotels, and although this isn’t the best overall, It’s still incredibly good. The pool is nice, whole hotel very clean indeed. Main restaurant is good, with all inclusive alcoholic and soft drinks on tap. We ate outside on the tables outside the restaurant most days as it was a bit quieter and more romantic. Food choices in restaurant were plentiful and to suit all. Prawns, chicken, pork, beef, goat meet and fish have all been available throughout the week. Plenty of fresh salad, pickles and coleslaws along with fresh bread. Breakfast is also good, salad, eggs, cheese, ham, bacon and cereal all available (and much more). The hotel location is on the beach which is great for safe swimming. Snorkelling on this beach is brilliant, especially around the rocks on the left. The beach is very long and is a beautiful walk from one end to the other, especially in the evening, Evening entertainment could definitely be improved upon. There was a quiz night, bingo but the best night was a solo guitarist who played songs through the decades. Not a lot else to do in the evenings as the hotel is in a quieter location, though there is a small market opposite and a car hire centre around the corner. (We hired a car for a day and went snorkelling at Morro Jable) which is definitely worth a visit. There was a snack bar at the hotel but afternoon cakes were not great. All the nice ones were gone very quickly and we were always left with very processed cheap croissants and buns. But drinks available all day. The one thing that would take this hotel up a notch in my opinion, is the friendliness of the staff. There were a couple of excellent staff, an exceptional barman who worked in the evenings and a lovely lady who cooked the eggs in the restaurant! They always said hello with a friendly smile and made us feel welcome but in the restaurant this is very much missing. The staff are not that welcoming and don’t make an effort to smile or make you feel welcome. If this was improved, it would make a huge difference to this hotel. Overall, definitely great value and a great holiday!

it was a very pleasant experience. the room, the food, the location, the staff were extraordinary. the girls cleaned every day. what I didn't like was the fact that they didn't have a kids club. very few activities for children and the internet only works at the reception.
