Labranda Golden Beach Only Adults

Over all a very pleasant stay. Food excellent and great choice, some of the hotel needed a bit TLC( dirty bits/ peeling paint/ toilet seat chipped) the towels needed replaced as had seen better days but on saying that the level of cleanliness in the room was very good and thorough and available every day. Staff polite and friendly. Gala dinner for New Year’s Eve was very good and the staff made it very special. We had a swim up room which I would definitely recommend as no sun beds available in the sunny part of the main pool in the afternoon. Dining hall was a bit dark and not much character but food was very good with lots of choice. Would return especially for new year.

Floor in room coming up, door and windows not lockable, food cold , there own wine and spirits terrible, no where to go near hotel , beach down a very steep road.Was recommended by lauren from barrhead travel hamilton. No instructions for safe ,pool not heated, only one bar with average entertainment.

We Stayed here for my birthday week in Jan, we opted for a swim up room, the rooms are basic but very clean, my wife is a people watcher so the swim up room was perfect for her to see what was going on around the pool during the day, the pool bar is great, staff are really great & that always makes your stay anywhere better, there was a big selection of food at the buffet each day for breakfast, lunch & dinner, there was a great fun lady that came to do aqua aerobics, it was a really fun thing to get involved with, there was a great touch by the hotel by giving my a bottle of bubbles & a nice message, thanks Team, we loved our stay there, met some great people & we will be back again, the only thing that I wasn't a fan of was Pepsi, I'm a Coca Cola man but that is a very minor thing, thank you for a great stay all.

Everything exceeded our expectations, especially the food. Staff were on the whole very friendly, rooms were clean with lovely sea view. Only downsides were - tiles missing off floor of pool , sone grumpy pool bar staff and the lack of availability of the a la carte restaurant. None of this spoilt the holiday though we had an amazing time as a group of 8 adults/ 4 couples. Food really was amazing for an all inclusive

Where do I start. My partner and I booked a 5 night break to relax after Christmas and enjoy some winter sun. Having read the hotel had been recently refurbished and that we could have our own private swim up pool we booked our holiday and couldn’t wait to get away. On arrival we were met by reception who weren’t the most welcoming but collected our room key and went to our room. As we walked in we were a bit disappointed as the room didn’t look as nice as the pictures and as you can see from the photographs it didn’t look like it had been refurbished! We had opted for all inclusive but this wasn’t like any other all inclusive hotel we’d stayed in. Eating and drinking times were limited. Bar snacks were non existent unless you wanted to eat a mini pork burger that had been sat in an incubator for hours! Definitely not the one if you’re a veggie like me! The drinks were served in plastic cups the size of a nursery child’s cup and any ice creams/lollies had to be purchased. It said we’d have our own mini bar but this was empty so again that was disappointing. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and it wasn’t even a double just 2 single beds that were like something out of a hostel. There was clearly water leaks in the bathroom that were close to the electrics which a huge health and safety concern and the smoke detector was heavily stained with nicotine. The food was ok but again some staff in the complex were so rude and really put a damper on the whole holiday. Our TV had a smart TV remote so we thought we’d put some Netflix on but it didn’t work, I rang reception but was then told none of the TVs were smart TVs so why have the option on the remote. The only channels that worked about 20 of them were in German! The food in the restaurant was ok but was the same every night, no burgers or the normal stuff you’d expect at an all inclusive resort, again little choice if you’re a vegetarian. All in all we will never return to this hotel spending nearly €500 a night it was not worth the money and was a huge disappointment. Save your money and go somewhere else! This is a classic case of false advertisement at its finest!

I was a bit worried after reading some of the negative reviews but wa pleasantly suprised and please on our arrival. The atmosphere at the hotel very relaxing. We didn't feel had to rush to get table for meals. There were always sun beds available even if we didn't put towels out early like some guests. Staff in the bars and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and facilities were good, some areas were in need of maintenance but this did not affect the enjoyment of the holiday and to be honest is expected in a busy resort that has many guests coming and going. We did see maintenance carrying out work whilst we were there. The food was good always a variety to choose from even for someone like myself who does not eat fish and is not over keen on meat there was always a variety of salad, vegetable and potato dishes to choose from. Good variety of drinks available on all inclusive option and enjoyed all the ones we tried especially the cocktails on offer, all using local spirits instead of named brands. The evening entertainment was ok, there was a variety although some were definitely better than others. The staff on reception were very welcoming on our arrival and throughout our stay and I cannot fault the cleaners who did an excellent job in our room and throughout the hotel during our stay. The resort was quiet and ideal for a relaxing holiday with plenty of shops nearby and a few bars and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. The beach was a 10 minute walk away. Overall it was a very enjoyable, relaxing week which was just what we wanted and needed. I would definitely return to both this hotel and other hotels within the Labranda group and recommend to others.
