We've stayed in Fuerteventura few times, but this was out first time at Costa Calma. The hotel was located right on the sea front, with its own steps to get down to the amazing white soft sandy beach with turquoise sea. A 10 to 15 minute walk and you are at the cute shops and cafes. The hotel itself was brilliant. Nice pools and plenty of sun loungers. Lovely views of the sea from everywhere. The pool snack bar was great for food and drinks. The main restaurant was excellent too. The Route 66 restaurant was also excellent. We had a superior double sea view room, but think we got a free upgrade to a junior suite room which was unexpected! The room was fabulous! We also couldn't resist the offer of a free photo shoot which was lots of fun and we of course bought the photos! Mike's Coffee bar was the real highlight. We couldn't stop using the place. They did such delicious Chocolate milkshakes and hot chocolates. We'd come back just for that!

Had a week at the Tindaya in april and mixed feelings about this hotel. About an hours transfer from the airport and a swift check in at reception and a glass of bubbly too. On to the room which was on the same floor as reception ( 4th floor) and was impressed with the size of the room although we did pay extra for the sea view. The sea view was a bit restricted as there was only a partial view due to the lay out of the hotel but you live and learn. Next stop the restaurant which states the dress code yet looking aroind the doesnt seem to be a dress code at all for the evening meal.Food was ok nothing special to write home about and dont bother with the estrelle beer pump in the restaurant as it just pours out a very gassy beer.Plenty of sunbeds but they get filled very quickly and not enough beds per ratio to guests.Mikes bar was good nice cuppa .Biggest gripe by far is the queuing at the pool bar queuing at the main bar queuing to get you evening meal.Looks like the hotel is understaffed yet the staff always smile. Would i book another holiday here no .

I booked a refundable room and then tried to cancel it but was told my booking was non refundable. Luckily I got it sorted as I cancelled it myself through the app. However, accessibility of the cancellation process is an issue that needs to be addressed. Requiring customers to input both a reference and a travel date—without providing a unified view of all bookings linked to their H10 account—creates an unnecessarily complicated experience. While I fully understand the need for security and accurate information, the current system seems to lack the user-friendliness that guests would reasonably expect from a major hotel group. Furthermore, I find it concerning that the current booking management system makes it far easier to miss a cancellation deadline and incur charges than it is to cancel a booking in a straightforward manner. This imbalance can leave guests feeling penalised for simply trying to manage their own reservations, particularly when dealing with multiple bookings or longer stays.

Booked all inclusive at the last moment. Late arrival..Food left out in the buffet restaurant. Easy check in.. with everything explained about the property. Lovely room 469.. spacious and spotlessly clean.. Ate in the buffet for all meals.. As a regular staying in H10 Hotels ...the variety of food wouldn't be as large. There was something for everyone.. Branded drinks were available in the bars... with a very good choice. All staff very friendly and pleasant without exception. Will definitely be back.. Only negatives were difficult parking. Sunbeds were taken up at 7.30am and people not coming back for three or four hours.. The hotel left letters about this..it's a difficult problem.

This trip was overall very good value for money (we got an all inclusive package with TUI for about c£750pp including transfers, flights and hold luggage), with a clean hotel and great facilities / entertainment throughout the day, and we had a great time. However, I found the way in which they deal with allergens and allergies to be sub-par, and as food is such a large part of a holiday, and I need gluten-free food, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. A thorough review in topics is below: - General cleanliness throughout the hotel and in rooms was brilliant with no concerns other than what seemed like a general under-staffing in relation to wait-staff, as plate and glasses were left at tables for quite some time before being cleared. - Staff are overall incredibly friendly, but the hotel seems set-up more for Spanish guests than English guests. This means a lot of the staff aren't able to answer queries raised in English. Considering you're in Spain, this isn't a complaint, it's just something to be aware of - having a few Spanish words to hand goes a long way. - Allergen information: I need to eat gluten-free food and I expected to see allergen information signs next to each item of food at the buffet, like I have in other all inclusive hotels. However, they operate with a pre-order system from a limited menu, where you have to find the restaurant manager to make the pre-order in person. I found this very difficult as the manager wasn't always at the desk and I didn't manage to get an order in for quite a few meals, leading to an even more limited menu to choose from when I arrived at the restaurant. I also received the wrong dessert one day and didn't receive my dessert at all on another day - once again, the restaurant manager wasn't there to take this feedback and fulfil the orders. The other restaurant staff were unable to understand what I was asking, and at my first meal, I was left to work out what I could and couldn't eat on my own as the manager wasn't available and the staff didn't understand what I was asking for. Note that the pre-order menu includes full meals which are not buffet style, so do not order more than one meal thinking you'll get small portions of both - they're huge (each time I asked for fish, I received 6 fillets of fish!). - The pools have a rule of not reserving the sunbeds, and your belongings will be removed if you do not return within 1 hour. However, the reality is that this rule is not followed and all sunbeds are reserved before 9:30am. Some sunbeds were reserved in the morning and never used until the guests picked up their items in the early evening. This was quite frustrating as each morning, you would immediately have anxiety about rushing to get a sunbed. The rule needs to be enforced by the hotel going forward. - Other reviews mention this, and it is true - there is a sewage smell across the hotel complex which reaches all the way to the top / 6th floor. It isn't constant, but it stopped us from b

Excellent location in front of the sea, white sandy beach Good menu, but sometimes not so much food choice All inclusive formula sounds good Excellent superior room, newly refurbished, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom, good cleanliness. Amazing sea view from room patio but too much noise in the early afternoon coming from the pool. Number of sun loungers in the pools insufficient already by mid-morning; hotel recommended for families with kids but improvements can be made

Booked this on reading all the recent 5* reviews but have to say it was disappointing and did not meet up to expectations. Glass doors covered in fingerprints which never seemed to be cleaned off, graffiti on toilet doors and dirty plates staying on tables in the restaurants for a long time. Lots of flies going on the buffet food. A la carte restaurant wasn’t great- wouldn’t bother booking there only positive was that you were served. Heated outdoor pool was a bonus so good for the kids.

We have just returned from a two week family holiday in this hotel. The Rooms: We were in a Junior suite which was absolutely perfect. The room was clean and spacious - towels replaced everyday (we were Privilege which I will address later). I couldn't fault the room or facilities. The Restaurants: The hotel has 3 restaurants - the main buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to all guests in the hotel. Food is excellent - I will admit after 2 weeks it got a little bit monotonous, but that wasn't a surprise. Two other restaurants free to 'Privilege' guests (Again, I will address this later) The Route 66 and Alisios. Route 66 is a based on an American style diner. The kids loved it, the food was lovely and there was a great atmosphere. The Alisios is a more formal setting. Again, food was lovely. The one thing that I would say about all three restaurants was that the staff could come across as somewhat 'gruff' at times - One of the older waiters didn't leave us in any doubt about his annoyance at being asked to clear a table when we were switching between the family who had left and us. And on another occasion we were reprimanded for being 5 minutes late for dinner in Alisios. That being said, they are very very hard workers (some of the older staff I would see at 8AM at breakfast and then again at 10PM after dinner!) And the vast majority of the staff were extremely lovely and couldn't do more for us, particularly the children. Water facilities also provided throughout the hotel at no additional change. The Daisy Club- My 2 boys are 7 and 10 and had ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST in this. I would suggest that the club as it is set up is more for younger children. If you are lucky enough to be Italian, the Veraclub (presumably part of this hotel chain, but for ITALIANS ONLY, as my children were told on a number of occasions) are definitely more for the older age groups. Unfortunately, not for us humble non-Italian people! On another note though, there is plenty for the kids to do. There is a mini golf course, giant chess board, and parents do have the peace of mind of knowing that the front door is manned 24 hours a day so the kids had incredible freedom. The Bars & Entertainment - The queues at night at the bar can be absolutely ridiculous, but this has been noted in other reviews so it will come as no shock when you arrive at the hotel. The Entertainment is good and varied. Not exactly the WestEnd, but can't knock them for effort and fun. The gym - Absolutely perfect for what I needed. It had basic weights machines, Dumbells, threadmills and bikes. Towels and water also provided. Actually got quite busy in the mornings! Privilige - My biggest regret, so this is my advice to anyone reading this.... Don't bother. If you get to the hotel and are feeling left out, you can upgrade. However, if you do get that jolt of jealousy, just remember that they are paying well for it and, in my opinion and the opinion of everyone we met who was on it, i

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel with my son from the 6th of June to the 13th of June in Room 373, and it was an absolutely beautiful experience! This place is perfect for families with children—I highly, highly recommend it. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable, thanks to the amazing cleaning staff. They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was spotless and inviting. A special mention goes to Rebecca, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The reception staff were also fantastic—friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The food was exceptional—delicious, varied, and of excellent quality. Every meal was a treat, and the dining experience added so much to our enjoyment of the holiday. The management of this hotel deserves great praise. It’s clear they are doing an outstanding job creating such a memorable and enjoyable experience for their guests. Everything was well-organized, and the attention to detail was remarkable. If you’re looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway, this is the place to be! Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so special.😊
