Melia Jardines Del Teide

Wow. What a dream holiday we’re having. I’m fussy, but this is just wonderful. The pool-access junior suite is just perfect for my fiancé, who has a walking disability. He can just roll out of bed & into the (always kept perfectly clean) pool where he’s happiest, to do his laps, and I can just relax. We’ve hired a mobility scooter for him to get around the hotel & he has access to everything. His favourite is the Level lounge where there’s an open bar of quality drinks, sandwiches & snacks from 4-6pm. He’ll be dreaming of it when we get home. All his fave drinks, charcuterie, cheeses, fruit (dreamy pomelo!) pickles & more. The staff are the stars of the show. Our cleaner is meticulous, friendly & everything is kept super clean. Huge respect to her. Lisbet the Level restaurant manager is outstanding. A professional superwoman in efficient friendly service & management. Melia - hold on to her at all costs. Such thanks to Francesca (I think that’s her name - sorry if incorrect) who is also of utmost help, service & understanding, especially of my fiancé’s special requirements at the restaurants Tiberius is barman extraordinaire. Friendly, service with flair & a smile. Absolute attention to detail & works extremely hard. His cocktails, personality & service are a highlight. He is an asset to Melia. The food here at Melia is truly exemplary. The best we’ve ever had. Such a wide variety of high quality produce, salads & deserts. Meats cooked & carved to perfection & the grilled shellfish lunch I had courtesy of chef Yenifer was something I will be dreaming of for a while. She grilled the freshest produce from the sea to perfection, tailored to each individual guest’s taste, as requested. She works like a demon, and with a smile, over the searing pans to serve the very high demand of the seafood. So very thankful to you Yenifer. I’m still drooling. We are both definite fans of Melia now & will be recommending to everyone, and will look at other Melia hotels around the world, should they all be of this standard. All our requests were attended to promptly & in a friendly manner. The cleanliness, quality & attention to detail are second to no other hotel we’ve been to. Thank you all so much. It’s been a dream

Absolutly fantastic week. Best hotel we have ever stayed in inTenerife. Faultless!! Food was lovley and staff were so friendly special thanks to Angelica Leila and Jose. Beautiful.pooland scenery. We didn't upgrade to The Level as we had everything we wanted and our room was beautiful. We will be returning next year!!!!

What can I say what a fantastic hotel we stayed in the master suite The level which was amazing the food the staff and the hotel is so clean were special thank you to the pool staff at the drago pool they were also amazing would highly recommend this hotel and we will certainly be going back

On arrival you'd like to think everything is going to be ok. Shower drain was full of hair, water didn't drain and overflowed. We reported to reception and had to wait until the 3rd day to get a new room. We paid alot of money for this holiday after a really busy year in the UK. We've not had issues like this before on any holiday. Staff seem OK until you report any issues, then they don't seem to care!! They tried to make us wait in reception for 4 hours until our new room was ready. Wouldn't stay or recommend this hotel due to the inconvenience caused. Definitely not a 5star hotel. Absolutely disappointed and wouldn't stay here for half the price we paid.

Came for a couple’s break with my partner. Great location of hotel as only a 10 minute walk to the beach and shopping centre, with a 15/20 minute walk to the ***** where there are more restaurants. Lovely reception and service when we arrived from the evening team. Bedroom was lovely clean, spacious and during our stay the housekeeping team done a great job. We had breakfast each morning and eat in the Al a carte restaurant on one of the evenings. Breakfast had a wide selection of food and always hot and tasty. Our evening meal was also really good and service was spot on by the team. Outside pool area was really nice however trying to get a sunbed proved difficult each day as others would leave a towel on for half a day and only turn up to use it come the afternoon! Saying that once letting the lifeguard know he removed any beach towels so we could get a bed. All the team we encountered were very welcoming and gave great service.

This place is heaven. A stunning five star hotel where the staff go all out to ensure all guests are comfortable. I was greeted with a glass of Prosecco when I arrived while my suitcase was being taken to my room with I thought was a lovely touch. The hotel is beautifully laid out with stunning views of Costa Adeje and the pool is amazing. I booked the junior suite with an ocean view and I was not disappointed! The buffet was delicious and I ate far too much as a result. I try to write a well balanced review so if I could say anything that needs improvement the only thing I would add is that as an all inclusive customer there was not very much choice at the pool bar for lunch, and I’m sure there are plants of leftovers from the restaurant buffet which would fix that. The pool had a burst pipe the day after I arrived so that was out of action for a day, but I appreciate that was just one of those things and nobody’s fault, plus considering the size of the thing they did well to get it back working again so soon. Town is a good 15/20 minute walk from the hotel so transport would be advised if you’re not able to walk far. They do have a shuttle bus from the hotel but if you want to go out in the evening you need to make your own way there, but the hotel is so good it was a push to make myself leave at all! Evening entertainment seemed ok but not always my cup of tea, but the other guests seem to enjoy it. All in all I had a wonderful time!

We stayed here at the end of July. 4 of us and my sons friend. My experience. Rooms Spacious Hotel layout great Views Amazing. Restaurant and bar overlook the town. Evening entertainment is chilled, singers acoustic guitar etc, proper chilled vibe. Hotel Staff, exemplary...all of them from day 1 to the end. Sleep quality, off the scale, beds so comfy, room is dark, no noise, best I've slept in years. Food, considering we only used the buffet, I thought it was really good. Good choice, maitradee sat you at a table, waiter serves the drinks, buffet had a good choice, theme at one section each night. As adults only, it was calm, no tongs chucked in the food, you could have steak, chicken, fish which is in a showcase each night cooked fresh for you. Steak was amazing to be honest. Daytime activities, pool spinning, aqua gym , aquabox. DJ sets come in maybe a couple of times per week for a couple of hours. The pool is calm and relaxed, if you want party, this is not the place for you. Beer is Cruzcampo on draft, 5 euros a pint. Cocktails available. The pool bar food is limited, but if you want a bigger lunch, you can walk down the beach front, it's 5 to 10 minute walk. We went half board, we felt this was the right option for us, never spent no where near the extra money for all inclusive. If you want a relaxing week away, I highly recommend the Melia Jardin de Tiede.

Well what can I say just returned from a 11 night holiday to Tenerife our first time visiting. We stayed at Meliá jardin del Teidie adult only hotel we like this option as we wanted to relax and chill whilst away, jet2 were amazing as usual organised upon arrival to the airport and quickly shown to our transfer coach. Pulled up outside our hotel and wow it was fresh, clean and such a relaxed atmosphere. We were early so could not check into our room until a little later but the reception team were so welcoming and talked us through our whole stay, we were explained about our board basis what was and what wasn’t included so clear on this as this is our first time going all inclusive. We were given two welcome drinks whilst we were waiting a lovely touch going that extra mile for us. We were welcome to use the pool and facilities whilst we waited so we did and had a bite to eat a few drinks by the pool. When it came to going to our room the team again took our luggage for us and kindly showed us to our room explaining the local area and happy to answer any of our questions The good points of the holiday: - amazing pool heated/warm and clean and tidy daily clean which was great to see, massive pool broken into 3 big sections meaning no one on top of each other and able to do some decent swimming - Buffet breakfast is what it is lots and lots of choice so well done on catering for so many tastes - Cleanliness of the bars and restaurants all great even communal outside areas being swept daily and washed down - The bar/catering team were amazing and quick and efficient to serve us - be patient with drinks at pool bar and main bar when ordering as all inclusive can cause a small wait but the team were working quick to get all the drinks out, after all your on holiday so be patient. - The Italian restaurant at the hotel which we had two free meals at as part of our all inclusive stay well what amazing food fresh so tasty and the service was amazing from Laura - Hotel room, welcoming with mini bar which was topped up daily as part of all inclusive so a nice touch - Daily cleaning of room was great to come back to a made bed and towels replaced if requested - There was a slight maintenance issue outside the room nothing that could be helped at all but a water pipe had burst on the hill but once reported to reception the team were so quick to fix and it did not affect our holiday or use of room at all, the team then spent a good 2 hours to make sure any mess and dirt caused by the leak as it was on a hill and washed dirt everywhere it was cleaned up scrubbing the tiles outside the room so again amazing response and service - Hotel on lots of levels as built on a hill but lifts available and ramps for those who need it so great to have the options - The area in adeje felt safe, yes there were those areas in where you could see a difference of people about but no problems for us no different to being back home. - Ok selection of snacks/food at p

Absolutely fantastic destination holiday. The staff were so friendly, food & drink was perfect. Niccolo & Leila were especially hospitable! Couldn’t recommend this hotel more. All inclusive was well worth the extra £££. We will be back!
