Hovima la Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel

Absolutely fantastic stay! I would like to recommend and will be certainly returning. Generous sized rooms ( which would benefit from furnishings updating) exceptional cleanliness throughout the entire hotel facilities, restaurants and pools. Quiet rooms offer great speep. Half board offers flexibility to swap dinners for lunches. Great variety of meals each day ( I would say breakfast was a bit repetative tho) Special thanks to customer care team and all hotel personnel, they made our stay enjoyable and stress free. I would also like to commend the Kids Animation Team they were absolutely amazing. My daughter enjoyed every single moment, there was so much enterntainment for kids incl kids disco and pool enterntainment each day. Thank you to Bea for promptly resolving minor issues. Georgina, Jamie, Lisa, David, Lucas and Globi who provided my daughter with exceptionate entertainment and fun. Paula is a special asset to the team - she assisted when my daughter got upset while on the Water Bouncy Castle and I was not able to help due to my own fear of waters. Paula did not hesitate to jump in the pool and help my daughter out of it. Absolute star ⭐️

Wonderful, spacious beachfront hotel. Private pool. Water slide feature. Lod splash area and separate shallow pool for kids. Delicious food offerings throughout the day. Top entertainment offerings. All supplemented with an outgoing, friendly and polite staff.

We spent one week in this beuatiful hotel with our kids. We paid for an excellence room hoping for a nice sea view, but it was mostly a pool view. Next time we would choose a ground room with a direct access to the pool because it takes several minutes to go from the excellence room to the pool. Our room was clean, spacious with comfy beds and we could choose our pillows. The kitchen was fine for all inclusive or full board, but I can´t imagine to cook there. The hotel is very nice and modern, our kids loved the interior with small playgrounds everywhere, little garden and fine indoor "game room". Too bad it was open only during opening time of the mini club. My daughter enjoyed her time with the animation team including the mini disco and night show (for small kids I would recommend the magician and skip the dancers). It is nice that everybody speaks English and German. The pool was hot enough for swimming even in December, always lots of free sunbeds. The beach is not that nice, quite dirty with people trying to sell you anything... sunbeds for 6 euros. I would definitely recommend to visit Las Vistas beach or Las Teresitas beach if you prefer to enjoy your time at the beach. Food was OK, very nice salad bar, desserts not that good. I´m glad we didn´t pay for all inclusive because drinks (juice, beer, wine, coctails) were really really bad. Some tips: Parking at the hotel is available for 12euros per day. If you are coming by car I dont think you would be able to park anywhere else. There was no parking instructions in the email from the hotel so make sure you arrive from Av. de Espana and park directly in front off the hotel reception for the check-in. Once you have your access card you can park in the garage. Sometimes the door is locked, sometimes there is a security guard sitting outside. Never stop in the garage door since they will close anyway... If you plan daily trips, go with the half board because we were told it is not possible to pack your lunch/snack for your trip. Pack your ear plugs because there are some loud bars close to the hotel and the different music playing at the same time could be really annoying. The check out time is before noon but the housekeeping was knocking at our door at 8:30 and we were not able to enter our room after 11:30. If you have small kids, I believe you will enjoy your holiday. Otherwise I would go for adults only with better food and drinks and nicer beach.

Myself, my wife and my 6 year old daughter had the pleasure of staying at the La Pinta for 7 days and it was honestly one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. All of the staff, from the team on reception to the ultra amazing kids club staff were exceptional. The hotel was absolutely spotless, the food was delicious and the kids club was amazing. Honestly I can’t rate this place highly enough. The bosses at the place should be very proud of each and every member of staff here. The location was perfect, right on the beach and the pool was exceptional with constant easy access to the pool bar and restaurant for snacks etc. The transfer took less than 30 minutes too. We had a great time! The staff are very friendly and special shoutout to Noelia who always greeted us with the warmest of smiles! The animation team work really hard and do keep everyone entertained. One highlight was the foam party. You’re very close to everything and so easy to get anything you need.

If I could score 6* I would give it 7 lol. 1st of all the location is amazing (what we wanted: to be by the beach, and the beach to have soft sand - and both wishes ticked). The room (we had excellence apartment) was great and clean. The atmosphere is so children focused which was fab as we travelled with our 2 and 6 yrs old and they loved all the shows and themes etc. We (parents) also loved the kids club (8m-4y and the other 4-12y) which happenes daily from 1500-1700 - it gives parents 2hrs for their own 🫶 a huge thank you to all Staff as All been so nice and friendly, but I would like to name a few which went above and beyond and made us return in the next years: 1. Angela from reception - patient and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and being so kind and understandable everytime we passed by the reception. Thank you. 2. Waitresses: Genesis, Claudia, Maylin and Rebeca: they are an asset for this hotel. Very kind to us, especially to our kids, hard workers and always making sure we are fine. A big thank you as well. There are a few workers I could not remeber their names like the "amigo" who served us drinks by the indoor bar in the night - another top fella, and the list goes on.
