Hotel Baobab Suites

From Corina and Loren on reception to Richard on the bar staff, all the team at the hotel are as high quality as the hotel itself. Always smiling and so welcoming. It’s a very friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like a VIP. Corina and Loren were always so helpful and made the experience. From touches like cava and strawberry coated chocolate on our anniversary to helping us with upgrading our room. Cant recall the name of the man who showed us to our room but he was equally as helpful. Think his name was Gerardo. Richard the bar man was so friendly and made our drinks with real care and passion. The BB Lounge was closed for refurbishment during most of our stay, which was a shame. As it was a lovely place to sit and have breakfast overlooking the ocean. The room we upgraded to had its own pool, which was lovely, unfortunately our neighbours on either side also had adjoining private pools and were very loud and spoiled the peace and quiet. So best take this into consideration if booking a room with a pool if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax during the day. We will definitely be back to the hotel and look forward to seeing and using the BB lounge next time.

One of the few hotels I’d return to is Baobab suites. Everything was so luxury from our 1 bedroom divinity bliss suite, the pool areas and all the staff were so fab. The breakfast was amazing we tried the breakfast box and the buffet. Defo 5 star quality! Bottles of water everyday in the suites. The location is perfect away from the busy areas, we had a car so it was easy to go around. We ate at the pool bar for the first few days and food was lovely and reasonable. It was unfortunate there were last minute building works at the pool bar which disrupted the last few days of the trip, but this didn’t put us off returning. One other tiny thing we noticed was some of the furniture on the balcony and around the pool could do with replacing as it was discoloured but this isn’t a major issue. Everywhere else was spotless. My husband and myself have just returned from a 9 night stay at Baobab Suites, this was our second visit here, our first visit we had a suite with a hot tub but this time we opted for a 2 bedroom suite with a private pool and it was the best decision. I’ll start by saying that on arrival we were greeted by Loren on reception and what a credit she is to Baobab, absolutely nothing was too much trouble the whole time we were there. I can honestly say that all the staff at Baobab Suites from reception to the maids were very friendly and helpful ……..with one exception, which was after finishing our lovely buffet breakfast, my husband had 2 bananas in which he was going to take to our suite to enjoy a little while later, but the staff in the restaurant had other ideas, with a nod and not so covert operation a manager came to our table as we were ready to leave to tell us that we are not allowed to take any food from the restaurant (it’s buffet and all you can eat) or we had to pay for it…. What made the situation even more ridiculous was the fact that there is fruit in reception to help yourself! He made my husband feel like a criminal. Putting aside the banana situation :) absolutely everything about Baobab suites was perfect from start to finish, I even had a lovely birthday cake sent to my room on my birthday and it was amazing (thanks Baobab) The suite was spotless and cleaned daily, the pool had amazing views of the sea, the surrounding area and the mountain. The B.B Lounge is great for bit of lunch or a cocktail and very reasonably priced with great views. We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at Baobab Suites and hope to be back very soon!

We had two amazing weeks at the Baobab Suites, staying in a 2 bed suite with private pool. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill, and whilst we walked it a few times, wouldn’t really recommend it when the sun is beating down - do yourself a favour, get a taxi back up! Our room was spacious, had all the mod cons and was cleaned thoroughly daily, and fresh bottled water provided. The open plan lounge and kitchen area led out onto our pool and terrace area, with two en-suite bedrooms to the rear. We had loads of space and the rooms were clean and tidy. We had breakfast included, primarily we went to the buffet most days, with the usual mixture of cold/cooked breakfasts. Food was of a high standard, even more so if you booked your breakfast in the B.B. Lounge, where there were a selection of breakfasts made to order - not too many people took this option up whilst we were there, which we couldn’t believe! You could also order a breakfast box to your room, but we weren’t a fan of this option in comparison to the other two. Having our own pool was brilliant, but there were always spare sun beds by the large pool, which had great views of the bay below. Finally, the staff here are superb, every one that we interacted with was friendly, polite and helpful. Over the two weeks we interacted with the reception, maintenance and pool maintenance staff on multiple occasions and they were brilliant - a real credit to the Baobab. If we were to visit Tenerife again we would definitely stay here again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others- though try to get your own pool if you can - absolutely worth it!!!

Stayed at the Baobab Suites for a week's holiday to Tenerife in one of their Divinity Lago rooms (1 bed suite with a hot tub). Firstly, the view from our balcony was absolutely 5 star, well worth the money we paid for the hotel. It was amazing seeing the mountain range one side, and having a sea view the other side and especially nice looking at this view at night in the hot tub! We loved the breakfast boxes - would highly recommend getting those and eating them in your suite as it is all locally sourced products from around the island, super fresh, and amazing it is all included in the price. So lovely to enjoy the view whilst starting your day too. We did also visit the breakfast buffet a couple of days and that was good too. I wish there were a few vegetarian alternatives for the sausages/bacon but to be honest there was still plenty to eat and we didn't go hungry. It was nice you could just pick up a bottle of juice and take it to your table too rather than having to use a communal juice dispenser. A lot of other hotels could learn from that. For dinner options we went to the BB Lounge on our arrival day and ordered room service from them as well during the stay. I would say the food is okay, and we weren't too blown away by it. Staff were very friendly and accommodated when we wanted to make a meat dish vegetarian though which was nice. The room service cost of an additional 20 Euros for them to walk it round to the room is a bit steep in my opinion though. We had a hire car for the duration of our stay and they kindly reserved a spot in the underground car park for us. I would say it is a small car park but not massively busy so if you do have a hire car, you should be able to get in there okay - if not, there is a lot of street parking around the hotel. If you don't have a hire car, reception will call taxi's up for you whenever you need and they arrive promptly within a couple of minutes which is nice. For certain areas as well you can get a voucher for those taxi journey's to be free too although it seems quite a limited area as we couldn't get into central Adeje for free by cab. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed them to be, and there were nice little touches like local chocolates left on our arrival day and departure day and a local bottle of wine. We did have a few small issues whilst there though which has stopped this being a 5 star review. Firstly there is cleaning every day and fresh towels which is nice, however the floors can still sometimes look a bit dirty and the indoor sofa and all the furniture on the balcony did look a bit grubby and could do with replacing or deep cleaning. The hot tub was fantastic but the first day we got there we pulled back the cover to find the cushions were grubby but more importantly that there was a yellow bacteria line all around the tub. The best ever, we went to Baobab as a family of 5, for my husbands 50th birthday, from the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be amazing. We were greeted by the wonderful staff, shown to our beautiful room with private pool and hot tub, everything was perfect. I had arrange a balloon and chocolate strawberries as a gift to my husband, there was also a bottle of wine and cake ready and waiting for us too. The setting of Baobab is beautiful, the view from our room was perfect (MI005) the breakfast box delivery’s were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The buffet style help your self breakfast again was better than anything we had ever experienced before, beautiful tranquil setting, fresh food and juice, clean and well run. Staff were all so friendly and helpful too. The suites are wonderful, loads of space, private and cleaned daily. The beds were soooooo comfortable, the private pool was a perfect temperature and the sand area perfect for the children to play. Bathroom towels and swim towels both provided, robes and slippers too. We went to the beach a couple of times, about a 15 minute walk, and uphill on the way back, but no issues for us as we love to walk, we are our most nights, so much choice within a 10-20 minute walk away depending how far you want to go. We can’t fault anything about our stay, and would definitely return. Baobab have everything you need for a chilled out, relaxing, luxurious stay. A special mention to Camilla who was just so lovely, so polite and attentive. All the staff were wonderful, food was delicious, location perfect, suite beautifully presented, overall a PERFECT break for a very special occasion. Yes this accommodation is higher prices and is definitely 5* but is worth every penny. Thank you Baobab for a perfect stay. Hope to see you again soon.

We are at the end of a truly wonderful week here at Baobab Suites and are so sad to be leaving. From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and assisted to our room. We stayed in the Rio Serenity 2 bed suite with private pool and wow !!! It took our breath away . Spotlessley clean, spacious, beautifully designed, well equipped with a gorgeous sea view. We could not have been happier. This hotel is calm, relaxing and beautiful. The staff are very nice and helpful, the grounds immaculate and the main pool area is lovely with stunning views. The breakfast buffet area is lovely and modern and the selection is great with everything you would want or need . The location was fine for us despite being up a hill as taxis were quick and accommodating down to the lovely local restaurant and shops and beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone ! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Baobab for a wonderful holiday .

We stayed here in a two bedroom suite with a private pool. Absolutely first class from start to finish. The rooms are amazing, clean and great facilities. It’s up a hill so a fair walk back from the sea front bars and restaurants but plenty of taxis for cheap and scooters if you prefer. A great base for our holiday. Staff were friendly, pools were quiet and restaurants attached to the hotel were of great quality. For steak lovers definitely take time to visit the newly opened Char. My only negatives were that the glass around the pools wasn’t cleaned. Everything else was 5*.

This is the 4th time we've stayed at Baobab Suites, so there are other reviews from my wife and me telling how great the accommodation is. This time we would like to say thank you to all the team at Baobab for a wonderful holiday! You never let us down! Beautiful place but the thing that makes the holiday special for us is all the staff from housekeeping (which was particularly fantastic this time, thank you Ivon, you were amazing!) to restaurant/bar staff to reception (shout out to Corina who was very pleasant). You are all very professional and efficient and should be very proud of yourselves! Thank you again! Can't wait for our next visit in September! The "good morning" from Marisol at breakfast just puts a smile on my face for the whole day.
