Gran Tacande is a beautiful hotel located right by a beautiful beach and close to shopping malls. The surrounding area is perfect for practically everything, weather it be a relaxing getaway or for shopping, fine dining etc. Each and every staff member are wonderful, kind and attentive. The hotel room was large, spacious and beautifully decorated, the beds and pillows comfortable and the room had a shower and a bathtub. The breakfast buffet had a diverse variety of tasty food to choose from as did the dinner buffet. It was never an issue to get a sunbed in the morning or day time, and the swimming pools were lovely. I also tried the spa although it was not included in the room reservation and I highly recommend it for a relaxing experience, and also got a massage which was exactly what I needed, and the masseur was very professional. To add the hotel has a good gym for those who like to maintain their workout routine during vacation. By the time I arrived at the airport I realised I forgot my AirPods at the hotel but the hotel found them for me and will be sending it by post, so safe to say they offer exceptional hospitality services. I was already planning my next trip there with my family while I was still there, I cant wait to experience it with my closest people.

Fabulous hotel overall! Breakfast is excellent, great choice and decent coffee. Hotel is kept very clean. Our maid (madaisy) kept our room spotlessly clean. We didn’t eat at the evening buffet restaurant and was disappointed to find out that white tapas had closed as this was a great restaurant attached to the hotel. The rooftop bar and lobby bar were excellent. Big thanks to Mary at the lobby bar who made excellent Cosmo’s and always had service with a smile! Highly recommend this hotel!

This is our 3rd year at this very friendly hotel and very well maintained. The location is minutes from the beach and local shopping. Lots of top Restaurants within walking distance. Our suite overlooked the sea and the pools. Breakfast has something for everyone. Lovely spa. I enjoyed a facial by Gaia. She very professional. We found that people just keep going back and I feel that says it all. We will return. Marilyn C

Difficult to some up this hotel it’s has some good points and some bad one, so overall it ok but wouldn’t come back Stayed in the gold section which had a very large room which was quite nice but had some tacky snags like torn sheets ,safe didn’t work. But did include free drinks and snack and a private area which was nice When you first into walk in the hotel it’s dark dingy and lacks any class, which is such a shame as if wouldn’t take much to give a first good impression with some design Staff are lovely and helpful and pools are stunning and large which we did enjoy This is again let down by poor breakfast which is all about quantity and not quality, again the layout of this eating area is all straight line of table, this would take much money or effort to reorganize this areas with different seating, maybe high tables, sofa areas and some plants to break up the design So some good and some bad you can choose

Our stay at the hotel fully lived up to our expectations regarding the quality and service that a five-star hotel should provide. The “firm hand” of the hotel’s general manager, Cristina Aguiar Rivero, was clearly felt—everything was so well-organized and efficient: cleanliness, order, excellent service, and diverse, delicious food. The hotel is located right by the beach, close to a promenade, shopping, and high-quality restaurants. And let’s not forget the seawater pools and the wellness center. This hotel exudes an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation. Our room had an ocean view, and every day we watched the sunrise and sunset from the terrace. If we decide to visit Tenerife again, there will be no need to think twice—our choice is Grand Tacande! A huge thank you to Kristina and the entire staff for a wonderful stay! See you again! We’ve been here twice in a year and a half… The service is incredible. The amenities for the price are unbeatable. The location is perfect. They have 5 star service. The restaurants aren’t world renowned but the selection is everything you could ask for; steak, fish, chicken, chips, fries, desserts and drinks. If you’re staying, spend the extra for gold level so you get the real 5 star experience. Again, there may be nicer or fancier hotels but if you want to be comfortable, and not break your bank, come here. The only thing in my opinion that could be better is the massage service. My husband disagrees but we both agree that the hydro circuit is bliss. We played tennis, room service most nights, and had our car valet’d for the price of a Marriott with WAY BETTER SERVICE. The staff is friendly and speaks multiple languages. They don’t make you feel uncomfortable and they're just grateful and happy. We love it here. If you have children, we definitely recommend this hotel. They have amenities for both you and them.

My wife, two kids, both 15, and I are currently staying at the hotel. Would rate this as no better than decent 4*. Biggest complaint is how cold the pools are……literally unbearable and never experienced anything like it. No one uses the pool as it’s far too cold despite the fact it’s advertised as ‘heated’. Really disappointed for the kids and being unable to use the main facilities for an entire holiday is unacceptable!
