Rooms are truely sumptuous our suite in Salome was very special , the food is amazing in all restaurants, it’s all the little things like refreshments around the pool and the staff are truely wonderful they made the experience extra special especially vikki who we met at breakfast and lunchtime around the pool .we cannot wait to return

Excellent service staff so friendly rooms kept spotles. Food was very good in the main dining room, but excellent in Poseidon and Portofino restaurants . The staff in the breakfast restaurant are so friendly, especially Vicky who was great. Hotel has a great position it looks straight out to sea with great views. We keep coming back great to chill out and relax, but not far away from nightlife if you want it. The concierge,s look after most needs nothing to much trouble. I would throughly recommend the Salome

For couples or families who want rather quiet and relaxed holiday, this hotel is perfect. Escaped from the neon lights, you can experience serene nights. The butler was friendly and professional. He and she made our stay here so special and personal. We highly recommend the stay at Iberostar Grand Salome!

Coming to Salome feels like coming Home . This is now our fourth visit here and there will definitely be many more . The welcome you receive the moment you step into the hotel is second to none . All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming .The Rooms are bright and airy with good feeling of space and with fantastic uninterrupted views of the sea. The feeling of relaxation hits you instantly . Although every member of staff are fantastic, I want to specially mention Jocelyn , one of our amazing butlers . Jocelyn knows what you want before you do , her attention to detail is incredible. She helped us sort out a small issue with our daughter’s room in neighbouring anthelia , there was no fuss , it was fixed . Within minutes of Jocelyn being informed .. Jocelyn is every inch of the 5⭐️ ,As is Vicky who is in the Mirador breakfast room and pool bar , Vickys smile would light up the darkest room , she is so so friendly , She also has the greatest ability to know what you like before you do .. Like Jocelyn , I hope they go far in this Hotel , They are both in my opinion Hidden Gems . If you are looking for the best hotel in Tenerife , the best views. The rooms are great, the food is excellent, and the staff are lovely! Being in Salome you get to know the staff who do the breakfast and lunch service, and all the ladies are very efficient and up for a laugh - Vicky, Rebeca, Alexandra, Ruth, and more whose names i didn't catch (especially the bartender with the long blonde ponytail who often made our evening cocktails). Nothing is too much trouble - from menu changes to helping us decorate for a birthday. Everyday they bring round a drink at the pool and a little morning snack, and there's often an ice cream in the afternoon. You can have drinks in the Salome bar until about 10pm, and there's also the big Anthelia bar and events hall. Oscar was our favourite up there! Top tips - find out the buffet themes and book the a la carte restaurant for the days you're less fussed about. You can do this in advance or with your butler when you get there. You can go to the lunch buffet from your table at the Salome lunch place (Lagarta I think) and bring food back. You can also try Portofino for lunch. Try the hotel entertainment in Anthelia. The ones put on by the 'entertainment team' are of varying quality (though the acrobats are excellent) but the performers they bring in are brilliant. We weren't sure what Funky would be; ended up being the most amazing singers and dancers doing songs from Bob Marley to a brilliant Purple Rain (including guitar solo). The bar will make cocktails off menu if you ask - if they don't know them you can give them a recipe! They leave treats in your room every couple days (though you might be too full to eat them!) If you're a big group (we were six) you might struggle to always get sunbeds together if you're up later then 8am, although there are always some available. If you don't have sun before midday where you're sat, the sofas by the bar and by the cardio equipment will have some. Good spots to read the paper! Salome guests get free access to the spa, which has varying types of pools, a steam room and a sauna. They like you to book these days, which your butler can do for you - it's a good way to spend a cloudy hour.

Absolutely amazing hotel & what truly makes it is the staff. Every single person you interact with makes your day better! The service around the pool is impeccable, especially thanks to Vicky. The employees are so attentive and the cocktails are always delicious. Lots of choices for soft drinks also and nice iced lattes, kombucha etc. We also enjoyed the larger bar in the evening in the main hotel, Oscar is very good up there and in the disco. The food is incredible at all the restaurants including the buffet. My only comment would be sometimes at the buffet the vegetarian / vegan options aren’t as good as they could be. For example on Mexican night there wasn’t really anything vegetarian to eat in the themed section and it would be very easy to make some refried beans or vegan chilli. We have also enjoyed some of the evening entertainment in the disco, all of it is good but I have to comment on the Diamonds (they perform the night labelled on itinerary as “Legends”). We were completely blown away by them, they performed an incredible set and are all so unbelievably talented! It felt like a West End worthy show & particularly their performance of purple rain with the full guitar solo - wow!

Second time visiting Iberostar Grand Salome and I will be returning again in the future. From beautiful surroundings in the hotel, to fabulous food and staff that go above and beyond consistently with a smile and a friendly warm manner. Also the weather is always a bonus.

The staff here are second to none so friendly and helpful. The hotel (adults only section) is perfect for a relaxing hassle free vacation. It is exceptionally well maintained, clean and beautiful. Restaurants are great good food. There are plenty of sun beds so no getting up at 6am.

The overall experience was beyond our expectations. The accommodation, staff, service and food have been excellent. There are several restaurants to choose from but our lunches at the Lagada are wonderful. Ruth, Vicky and the staff there and on the terrace at breakfast are very special. The ‘butler’ system is a fantastic idea with a number of very polite attentive young people there to assist at every turn. We will definitely be back!
