H10 Gran Tinerfe - Adults Only

Wow another amazing two weeks stay at this hotel. Our welcome/check in went smoothly, requested a “high floor” and that’s what he had. All areas of the hotel are spotless outside and inside, a credit to the hotel management and staff. Marina was helpful as usual and was always “out and about” if there were any problems house a guest relations person she was brilliant. We booked the “Privilege” package and again were not disappointed. We went several times to both restaurants and there was no need to complain. We ate in the Miradoor was as excellent, the staff lead by the very competent manager Aaron, like all of the staff, nothing too much problem. The themed restaurant was excellent to also the (new) Italian restaurant was amazing. The spa and hairdresser were exceptional as well, good value for the money. The hotel is well positioned with the sea and promenade within inches. We have already booked for January 2025 a wonderful place/hotel for a winters break. Thank you H10 Gran Tinerfe. Recently returned from a wonderful break at this hotel thanks to the wonderful staff from grounds men to directors that are always visible around the hotel and always greet you. Been to this hotel too many times to count but at least 35 times in maybe 15 years. Hotel is in a great position by the beach with great walks along the prom both ways. We went AI plus Priv . One of the reason I love this hotel is how friendly the staff are and many of them have been there a long time. No reserving sun beds is endorsed so what ever time you wish to sit around the pool you will get a bed. The new Italian restaurant is a bonus to book while you’re there, open Thursday , Friday and Saturday. If I had to say one negative thing and this is only a very small point that does not effect this wonderful hotel is it is a little tied in some corridors but I’m sure this will be address soon. Great stay at the H10 Gran Tenerif. Decorated the room and upgraded us to a suite for my husbands 50 th. Clean hotel, lots of room and sun beds. Friendly staff, nice cocktails. Great location. One heated pool in the winter. Amazing food and facilities. Would definitely return.

My husband a I have just returned from this hotel and what should have been a relaxing holiday turned into a dreadful experience to my mind never before have we had a terrible holiday so here we go first thing had to change rooms three times , couldn’t unpack for three days for changing rooms, wrist band had to have money loaded in it, hardly any cold water from bathroom tap even though we pay £200 euros to upgrade, food was Luke warm, and not a very good choice of food and I got sickness on the third day I think it was the water poured from the bottle in the restaurant as my husband was ok he never drank the water and we did not eat and drink any wear else, and very noisy at night as the rooms are near the bars that play loud music, we will never return and I cannot think how this is adults only and four stars it needs demolishing and rebuilding, only one thing I will say is the waiting staff and cleaning staff can’t do enough and work extremely hard and didn’t wait to be served for drinks either please do yr homework before booking this hotel

My husband and I have just returned from a two week holiday at this hotel and must say it was by far the best hotel we have stayed in. We had the privilege package which was superb, a front sea facing room on floor 10 with spectacular views and were very well looked after by everyone. EVERY member of staff in ALL areas in this hotel must be applauded for their friendliness, efficiency and hard work making sure everyone was happy, comfortable and enjoying themselves. We particularly liked the band given which is used to access our bedroom, privilege areas and pay for anything not included in our package. It made everything so simple. The food was good and varied and there were a couple of 'special' nights in when we enjoyed taster menus. Thank you ALL at Gran Tinerfe for making our holiday so special. We do hope to return next year for a very special wedding anniversary.

Reception staff quite abrupt. Premium holiday makers get treated and spoken to so much better by staff compared to your basic holidaymakers why??? Renovation works going on around the pool area all day everyday. Constant noise drilling,banging &dust etc I did ring Jet 2 2 weeks prior to our stay as I had read about renovation works going on, Jet 2 reassured me they had not been informed of any works happening, these works were well underway before our arrival. Room was located in a side corridor floor -2 ,this was below the premium bathing area so was woken every morning at 7am with the banging and movement of the area being cleaned dragging of beds etc Paid for bottled water each evening with our meal,came to us unsealed in a a glass bottle with a screw top which was removed by the waiter which makes me believe these bottles are just refilled and sold for 3 euros!!

Food poisoning and Building works…..! Not the 4 star hotel we had hoped for, room renovations by the pool area mean your listening to builders with jack hammers and drills all day… neither the hotel or TUI contacted us to advise of building works prior to arrival, we booked the holiday 5 months ago! Not a great experience

Tui notified us at 2000 last night of building work at this hotel. Surely they knew before then. Will make our stay as pleasurable as possible. The work is make a ramp for the bungalows next to the pool. Sorry Tui I don't want to lie in dust and noise, I wanted rest and relaxation by the pool. Now for the hours waiting for a call centre to answer to see if we can move to try and get back our holiday?

Not the most luxurious hotel but made up for by very attentive and helpful, friendly staff. lovely privilege lounge and sun deck. Positioned right by a sandy safe little beach. Main restaurant absolutely fine with nice sun terrace. Evening music and dancing in a cosy setting.
