Lagos de Fanabe Beach Resort

Have to say I was a bit nervous given some of the reviews but we found it to be a great place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Apartment was spacious and airy and very clean. Wonderful shower, very powerful, could have stayed in there all day. Also very well equipped kitchen area with a large fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Excellent aircon too, all included for both the lounge and bedroom. Very comfy beds which is a major thing for me plus lots of storage in the bedroom. We could have had cleaning every day but chose to skip a couple of days for privacy. Seemed to get clean towels and fresh bedding all the time. We booked direct staying on bed and breakfast rate and decided not to go down to eat each day but bring a selection of stuff back to our room and eat on the balcony at our leisure. This was totally okay and the staff helped us by showing us where the paper plates were and we picked up lovely bread, fruit, boiled eggs, croissants etc. just suited us as we’re a bit dopey first thing. Probably not ideal if you’re into a full English brekkie but it suited us. Half board or all inclusive isn’t our bag so can’t comment on that. Pool area was very quiet, some people seemed to reserve beds from early AM but we never did and always managed to get one when we wanted one. Pool was just right temperature and a nice mix of shallow/deep. You could always find either sun or shade too. Great location for access to the beach, local shops and restaurants. Very busy outside yet this place seems to be a quiet relaxing haven. We would definitely return.

We had an amazing stay at Lagos de fanabe the staff were so friendly and helpful rooms were clean with everything you need the position was perfect we will definitely be returning thank you for a lovely holiday next year. We are right in the middle of all the great facilities that fanabe beach has to offer. Highly recommend

2 bedroom apartment was lovely. Neighbours from hell.. hotel tried to stop but finished at 11pm so no help after that. Breakfast was nice but lunch and dinner was cold and disgusting. Location was good . If you go only b&B and dont get the neighbours from hell. Im sure you would have a lovely time. Costa adeje is absolutely stunning.. so many more hotels that would not allow this to go on.

Awful holiday I’m afraid to say We normally stay at the GF Victoria but being we booked last minute, the Lagos Fañabe was the only holiday available You are far from a 4* Your pool is unusable as it’s ice cold so we had to resort to the beach everyday as the sea was warmer, and having 12 and 14 yr old boys, all they want to do is swim Your all inclusive is a joke, cheap tiny tubs of ice cream and undrinkable one choice of beer/wine/vodka as the only all inclusive options We gave up after day 3 and ate out at other restaurants having paid £6k for a week all inclusive so now massively out of pocket The food choices were poor and cold (the food is ALL cold) breakfast ok but never get a table and when you do, takes your 1 member of staff 20 mins to clear previous guests plates and 3 times I had to ask for cutlery Your staff are rude and don’t care No atmosphere and no entertainment, most boring dull place and I’ll add pics as it’s the first time I’ve been somewhere where poolside is empty Day 4 we still had the same towels in our apartment so had to google ‘new towels please’ in Spanish and leave a note and left €20 to ensure we got them Being we had to use the beach everyday as your pool is unusable (not one person got in it all week) our floor was constantly covered in black sand from the beach and we had no broom or mop in our room to sort this.. again had to leave a note asking to be swept by day 4 To add insult to injury, we fought to get a ‘courtesy room’ to shower in as we had a late flight yet you ‘guaranteed us a room for 15 mins per person’ but allowed us just 20 mins in it as the family of 5 had booked it for 2 hours? Hardly 15 mins per person We had the previous guests wet towels only so your courtesy room isn’t even maintained We air dried since the wet dirty make up stained towels from previous guests weren’t appealing to use You EVEN called the courtesy room whilst we were showering and accused us of being ‘by the pool’ I think 20 mins for 4 people to get showered did not give us time to be by the pool?? You’re all rude and I only hope even if 1 person reads this review and avoids your resort, it’ll be something Ps broken cupboards and knobs missing off wardrobe You are 2* at best

AMAZING 🤩. From Checking in to checking out fantastic. Stayed with my with and 16year old daughter on March 2024 . When we checked in they upgrade our room to gold from silver free of charge ! We didn’t even ask, the apartment we got got was WOW 🤩 AMAZING. Just booked to go back in this May. Location is superb, breakfast was superb, staff especially cleaning ladies SUPERB. Great experience can’t say one negative word about this place! See yous in May 👍🏼☀️👍🏼

Fantastic Location on the Fanabe *****. The main entrance leads onto one of the bustling side streets which also has La Tosca Italian Restaurant as part of the complex with dual and direct access. 2 Pools - 1 heated - an evening bar with regular nightly entertainment. The beach is less than 500mtrs away. There are 20 Bars / Restaurants within 300mtrs. The staff were excellent. Will be going back soon !

Didn't get a room we asked for the room we hot was tired and dated food was OK breakfast by for the best option no vegetarian option @ lunch or dinner very poor in this day and age view was fantastic room 1021 not 4 star good location plenty of bars and restaurants close by 2 minutes walk to beach

Don’t know where to start to e honest. This hotel “pretends “ to be a 4* and TUI advertise it as such . For Over 30 years we have stayed in many of the “proper” 4* hotels in this area of Costa Adeje and this one is certainly the worst . TU should be ashamed to award this place 4* and certainly not surprised no TUI REPS EVEN VISIT THIS PLACE. Nothing comes near the advertising (bumf) . First of all there aren’t TWO restaurants, all you get is the buffet place serving the likes of chicken and chips & other dishes you would not even try after looking at them plus the dishes never vary day after day. The other restaurant A La Carte was never opened once during our 10 day stay, and as far as the BEACH CLUB which is also advertised. You have to pay for that even though we were on the all inclusive (with a 15%discount).Evening entertainment is very poor , with just the odd singer whilst most guests take the food in there from the buffet to eat, then go out somewhere else. This holiday cost my wife and myself over £3,000 for the ten days. We booked a “Delux” 1 bedroom apartment with terrace . It was directly above a very busy evening restaurant on a narrow street with a Chinese massage parlour etc directly across with a restricted side view of the sea in the distant. Also we only met two British couples throughout the whole holiday as 95% of guest were obviously German. I do intend to forward this review direct to TUI as they do need to visit the hotel in order to (re-grade ) or even get one of there reps to visit sometime . I did complain via the TUI app whilst there but a all I got was a “robot” or some other electronic whizz offering me a £200 voucher (which I felt I had to accept) . But overall a very poor holiday and a costly one at that.
