My mom and I stayed here for 4 nights this April/May for our birthday trip to Italy. Cortona was our home base for touring multiple areas in Tuscany. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Everything was beautiful and the staff were amazing and friendly. They had nightly aperitivos, vin santo and cookies and the morning breakfast spread was amazing. The room and facilities were very clean and it was a quiet, peaceful hotel. The staff knew us by name, which made it a special stay. All of the other guests were friendly. If you are planning on spending time in Tuscany, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you so much to Martina, Sonia, Victor, Mark and all of the amazing staff for making our stay so special.

We spent four wonderful days in Cortona, and the Villa Marsili hotel. We got a spacious, beautifully furnished room with a great view on the valley, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and complementary apperitives at evenings. But the most of all we loved warm service provided by the staff : attentive, professional, helpful. Just one detail: We booked a non-refundable room but had to change dates due to the flight cancelation. The hotel kindly agreed to change the booking without any additional fees. Thank you for that!

A beautiful historic hotel updated and lovingly preserved. Outstanding personal service from the manager, Marina, who works morning til night. Exceptional breakfast. Comfortable bed and clean bathrooms. Spotless. Traveled with a group and spent four nights. We all wanted to stay longer!

This is genuinely my favourite hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The level of service and friendliness of the staff are next to none. Our room had the most spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside. The breakfast spread is the best I have ever had - with scrumptious pastries, fresh pancakes, hot food and large variety of vegetarian options too. The family that run this hotel are so incredibly friendly and accomodating. Cannot fault it at all. I hope to come back some day.

Lovely. The breakfast is wonderful. Our room was spacious and the view outside pure Tuscany. The hotel was situated down the hill from Cortona. Cortona offered plenty of places to eat and shop. The hill is steep, but stopping in the shops along the way is pleasant.

We were so pleased that AHI chose the villa for our stay. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff! The breakfast was extraordinary. Everything was very fresh and unique. Not an American breakfast which we can get at home! We loved sitting in the garden enjoying our drinks and appetizers. Every night at 7:00 the appetizers were brought out. Thank you to Mark and Vincent for taking such good care of us at the bar and breakfast. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful view. We hated to leave!

We spent hours and hours searching for the best hotel in Cortona to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We were thrilled with our selection of Hotel Villa Marsilli. The hotel is stunning, the staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and lovely. The breakfast was divine. We have never stayed in such a well cared for property with off the chart service by EVERYONE on the staff. We reserved a parking spot at the hotel months in advance and it was definitely worth it for us. The views from our room were so stunning…we simply cannot say enough positive things. If you are thinking of Cortona, this is the best place to stay. We are already planning our return!

I recommend this place 100%!!! They went above and beyond to help my daughter after she sprained her ankle. Constant ice, room service (which they don’t have) and attention. All the staff were incredibly hospitable. Genuinely caring for her well being. You don’t see that from a hotel ever!! We will be back!

This lovely villa was simply marvelous! Welcoming attentive staff, comfortable spacious rooms and baths, and a breakfast feast to die for. We also took advantage of the nightly spread of tasty appetizers in mini ramekins followed later by cookies and vin santo. The decor is lovely, and the hotel is ideally located about a 10 minute walk up the hill (somewhat steep) into Cortona.
