Hotels Near Mario Rimoldi Modern Art Museum in Cortina d'Ampezzo

Cortina is sort of the heart of the Dolomites (site of the '56 winter Olympics and the upcoming 2026 winter olympics) thus Hotel des Alpes is a beautiful little town and ideal location for exploring these breathtaking mountains and lakes. It is located on the main road north of the town with parking on one side and the hotel on the other. The staff was helpful with finalizing plans for where to visit nearby with realistic with the time available. There is a nice sitting area just off the lobby with bar service, a pleasant dining area that is used for dinner and breakfast bar, and beautiful views from the room and restaurant. Would definitely return if we get the chance to spend more time in the Dolomites.

We enjoyed staying 2 nights here...super comfortable rooms and we had a corner room with a deck and a view in 2 directions...modern and very nice bathroom too. But we especially enjoyed the food, both the breakfast buffet and the a la carte dinner (wow for the chicken with almonds...had it 2 nights) served in the bar area. Staff were very nice and helpful. Also there is a huge outdoor area with lounge chairs and chair pads to sit out there in the sun and totally enjoy the views in all directions! This is a very special setting for morning and sunset photos and only 20 minutes from Passo Gaiu if you want to go up there for sunset photos which we did one evening.

I came to B&B Tre Croci Cortina for a solo stay – I've been here on sabbatical for 6 days and 5 nights, and my stay at this B&B was nothing short of amazing. It's located right outside of Cortina, which is very convenient because of how close it is to Lake Sorapis, Lake Braies, and Tre Cime & Cadini di Minsurina. The hotel staff is very kind, patient, and courtesy... and the kitchen/dining staff is PHENOMENAL. They're very intentional about making your staff feel like home. Yamirka & her fellow dining staff made the difference in my staff. The rooms are very modern & there is plenty of space. The view of the mountains is beautiful, too. The only cons I would mention are the level of noise from patrons who don't do their best to abide by the ask for quiet in the hallways – I don't think it's intentional, but the closeness to the hallways makes a bit of a difference. Also, I'm someone who likes to sleep with it very cold, and my room thermostat wouldn't go down for some reason (I just slept with the door open as it was cold outside at night). I couldn't recommend this place more. If you're coming to the Dolomites, stay here! 🖤

We'd planned a multi-day trek on the Alta Via and stayed at both Fiori before and after our mountain trek. We chose Fiori because it was close, but away from the bustle of Cortina, offering a more relaxed and enjoyable experience. The facility was beautiful, the staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful. We'd highly recommend Fiori.

The hotel is located on the shore of Lake Missouri. The environment is very good. I got up in the morning and took a walk by the lake and took a photo of Rizhao Jinshan. Surprise! Although the room is not luxurious, it is very clean and equipped with two bottles of water (no other hotels); the hotel breakfast is rich and delicious, and I also used dinner at the hotel the day before, the price is king. In addition, the reception staff is very enthusiastic and also helps with luggage, awesome!

Esperienza terribile con questo hotel ancor prima di poterne usufruire: Il giorno 15 febbraio 2023 abbiamo prenotato per telefono due camere per la notte tra il 17 ed il 18 febbraio (per esigenze lavorative). Tutto sembrava essere sotto controllo come concordato con il dipendente dell'hotel via telefono. Una volta giunti su loco (dopo ben 450km arrivando da Milano) il receptionist ci accoglie,in modo piuttosto sgarbato, dicendoci che dato che non erano riusciti a d effettuare la transazione, hanno cancellato la nostra prenotazione. Vi lascio immaginare il disappunto che si prova in una situazione del genere dopo 5 ore di macchina alle spalle. Il receptionist prosegue lavandosene le mani affermando: ”vi abbiamo avvisato per mail” cosa che non ci risulta (una chiamata sarebbe stata gradita), ma comunque la carta di credito ci è stata richiesta via telefono, quindi è alta la probabilità che il dipendente abbia sbagliato a digitare i dati, anche perché trattandosi di una carta aziendale senza limiti di spesa. Allora il receptionist ci ha proposto una soluzione in un loro ulteriore hote 3 stelle (invece che 4s), ma allo stesso prezzo. Proporre lo stesso prezzo per un servizio ridotto, dal mio punto di vista, vuol dire fregare le persone. Oltre che il danno in sé, in termini di vostra mancata organizzazione interna, l'essere stati presi in giro e trattati in maniera maleducata, fa sì che vi meritate il minimo possibile nella valutazione finale. August 2024: in 2 Family. We stayed ten days in this hotel. The typical mountain structure surrounded by all green tops, trees and herbs, and cosy with a charming stream. The warm and very familiar atmosphere. The rooms they gave were double and triple, large, with essential furnishings, comfortable beds, TV, large box and large bathroom. We had dinner every evening in the hotel, found typical dishes of the area very tasty and abundant (good tiramisu). The team of ready staff is careful to meet any request, Mrs. Laura was wonderful, William the room manager is funny and sympathetic and fun with customers, The chef chef Mirko carefully and well advised us typical and tasty dishes, Michael at the reception goodly and carefully in performing the service. Best experience. Beautiful and cosy, excellent service, excellent food (we had breakfast and dinner). Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location - outstanding view, small and quiet town, a great base for hiking in the Dolomites. High value for money. We would definitely come back.
