Very good experience staying at the Retro Inn. Great selection of breakfast and friendly staff. The motel gives you a vibe of the 1970s, which was very cool. And they also have ping pong table, chess set, and many more. Highly recommended

The Retro Inn exceeded our expectations for a 2 star motel. The uniqueness of each room was cool along with interesting options including outdoor chess, billiard/games area. The food was exceptional. The room was very clean and well made. The host made an excellent dinner recommendation - Farm Bistro. We would go back again if we travel through Cortez.

We stayed at Retro Inn in both directions between Colorado and Arizona. The place is clean, offers breakfast, allows pets with many areas for exercise and the town of Cortez has a nice variety of restaurants. The price is Retro too!

We stayed here a couple of years ago and found it was still excellent during our 2-night stay. The decor has a sense of playfulness. Our room was large and clean. The wifi was excellent. Breakfast was good with oatmeal, fresh fruit and other expected items. Our only complaint is that our room could use another light or two, particularly one on the desk. It's a large room that needs better illumination. But the Retro Inn will still be our choice the next time we pass through Cortez.

It's a motel in a the West, not a,Hilton Hotel in Dubai.... it has a special feeling. Location is great. Rooms are spacious and clean. They just finished a guest room, where people can get together and play. There were a few games, and there are tables inside the room, and outside if the weather is nice. They also have continental breakfast, with a very good selection. Boiled eggs, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, milk, corn dogs, burritos, and several types of bread, along with butter, cream cheese and jellys. Coffee, juice, and fruits. Really, one of the best continental breakfast you can get in a Motel like this.
