Apartamentos Maxorata Beach

Still on holiday here when writing. 1st time here and on the island. Yes apartments are basic, but very,very clean and spacious. We are ground floor facing solarium and outside space very large. 4 chairs, table and drier. Poolside bar/cafe value for money and inexpensive. All staff lovely. Valerie on front desk always happy and knowledgeable. Pool big enough and plenty of sunbeds. It is so quiet and peaceful even though the complex is full. Great location only 10 minutes to main ***** so to speak and 20 minutes nice stroll to music square. Corralejo itself feels very safe and has a great vibe this time of year. Looking forward to the rest of our holiday. Would definitely recommend.

1st time in Fuerteventura, was on bucket list for a while as was told about the music sq. Was a little worried as booked Maxorata appts which is 2* plus. Was defo not disappointed. The accomodation was large with a comfortable balcony. The bed was comfy (had 2 ask 4 extra pillows from reception, which was not a problem) shower was great. Only downside was NO aircon, fans are available 2 rent at a cost of 2 euros pd (20 euro deposit) which did the trick. Pool area was great, no rush 4 sunbeds, we were still able to get 4 beds together @ 10am. Snack bar was very good, we sampled full English breakfast, wraps and obvs beer and spirits. The location was great, walking distance to the market and water park, although we didn't do either. It was approx a 20 mins walk to the music sq along the main high St, passing lots of choices of bars and restaurants. 5 min walk to the shopping centre. We were lucky to also experience the blues and jazz festival which apparently is a yearly occasion, it was amazing. We will defo return

Me & my husband have just come home after a 10 day stay at the maxorata, we had a fantastic time, the rooms are lovely, perfect for a couple,had everything we needed, we had a poolview which was great,no rush to get to the sunbeds every morning as there were plenty of them,pool was perfect for a dip after laying in the hot sun,pool side bar/cafe was great,staff very friendly & helpful,close to the ***** for having a walk to all the bars & restaurants in the evening, we really enjoyed our stay & would deffo stay again 😀

These self-catering apartments are situated in a really good location close to the main ***** and the Campanario centre but quiet and peaceful. The apartments will be described by the majority of people as basic but clean but as much as that is true, the best part of the Maxorata is the staff who are so friendly and helpful from reception staff to the little bar staff and cleaning team. This time we stayed for 10 nights and was impressed with the gardens which although have lost the bougainvillea that decorated the walls they are well maintained and tidy. We stayed in one of the superior junior suites and had everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. We had a balcony and enjoyed late afternoon/evening sunshine. I can definitely recommend these apartments for a great stay in Corralejo. Walking distance to the nearest hiperdino supermarket is 5 minutes away in the Campanario with a few bars, restaurants and has a market on twice a week. The main beach of grand playas ( flag beach) is a long walk around 45minutes, but a taxi at the Campanario is around 6 euros. Corralejo town beach is about a 15 minute walk away. We've already booked again for March and are counting down the days until we return to the Maxorata beach apartments.

First I have to say all the children had a fabulous time 😃 there was food in abundance and four swimming pools plus a splash park ! And to be fair as a groupe we all gad a good time, just a few things that if addressed would make the experience better for all 🙂 in general the hotel could do with a luck of paint hear and there and the hallways swept on a regular basis, just makes everything look so much cared for, the main resturant is extremely busy and the choice of dishes took some finding on occasions ! Just a bit random how it's set out, and hot dishes could do with being "hot" which they were lacking on occasions, drinks were plentiful although a location to get cold water would be handy when the bars are closed, especially if arriving late at night / early hours of the morning, as far as the staff I can't really fault them, they all work extremely hard ! This is a BIG hotel so they are on the go all day from early in the morning until late in the evening 🥰 with that I mind thus is nit the place for you if your looking for a quite time by the pool / restaurant / bars, If your coming out as a family / big groupe then this would be a great place to stay, plent to eat / drink, close to the beach and shops if that's your thing, also really worth going to Morro Jabel the small town at the end of the beach to the South for an evening out, had a great meal in Waikiki on the sea front 👌😋 x

Spent 2 weeks in Maxorata recently. Location is fantastic. The apartments are basic but very clean and the staff are lovely. We would love to return next year as we love the area. There are 2 negatives however. The lack of a baby/kids pool is an issue. This pool is very deep. We struggled to entertain our 2 year old and spent all our time hanging around the slope that enters the pool. I wonder what the motivation was when removing the baby/toddler pool and weather children are really welcome in this complex now. Also, it's a shame the pool bar closes so early. I think 5:30. It's seems a wasted opportunity to not keep it open later and have some entertainment. We'd definitely spend plenty of time there. Again though, the lack of these facilities at a later hour leads to the complex being really quite and I wonder is Maxorata now aiming towards being a quieter, adult only, complex. Such a shame as Maxorata is a lovely affordable complex for families and there isn't many of those on the island.
