Las Marismas de Corralejo

We very much enjoyed our stay at Las Marismas de Corralejo. The check in went fast and we got a large apartment with two bedrooms and a spacious living room with kitchen and a big bathroom with bathtub. A lot of towels, shampoo and toilet paper were provided. The bathroom has a bath tub, a good shower and a hair dryer. The kitchen had also everything you needed, a microwave, a coffee machine, a water kettle, a cooker, a toaster, a fridge and a full kitchen equipment for making and serving food. The water from the tap is not drinkable so you have to buy mineral water for drinking and making tea and coffee. The beds were good and we had a huge balcony with two garden sets. The apartment was clean, several times during our stay we got fresh towels and clean linen. Las Marismas has two big pools and one of the pools is heated. The garden is beautiful and well maintained as is the whole complex. There’s a big main restaurant where you can have a breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Every evening there is a different kind of buffet. The pool bar serves good food at reasonable prices. There’s also a well stocked supermarket and the prices are very good, also for small souvenirs or clothing. In the garden you can find a mini golf and you can also play tennis. The gym is also well equipped and large. During the day you can join the several activities at the pool or on the premises. Las Marismas is in walking distance of the big shopping road and also restaurants and supermarkets. You can park your car for free at the fenced parking lot from the hotel. We stayed in February so not during a school holiday so I do think it might be busy with children during the holiday seasons. If you don't like that, you should take that into account. The staff was great, very kind and helpful. A special thanks to Claudia at the reception and Carmen at the pool bar. Good service means a lot to the guests who are enjoying their holidays. We would really recommend Las Marismas de Corralejo for a stay on the island of Fuerteventura and hope to come back soon.

First time staying at Las Marismas Corralejo but it won't be the last, stayed from the 14/12/23 to 28/12/23 We were staying self catering and found the rooms perfect with all the basics you need. Reception staff couldn't do enough for you and were pleasant and happy to help. The landscape gardens were beautiful and we never had a problem getting sun loungers. The hotel allows self catering guests to eat in the resteraunt for a very reasonable cover fee which you can pay for on the day so very convenient if you fancy eating in, we ate there three times and was very happy with the food on offer. We also had the Christmas Gala Dinner and the food was on par with some top notch resteraunts that I have been to. All in all I can definitely say we will be back to this hotel WELL DONE LAS MARISMAS CORRALEJO

Just arrive back from Las Marismas and all I can say is what a fantastic hotel this is, the staff are all very friendly the rooms may be a little dated but are very large and always kept clean the cleaners came in 5 days out of my 7 day stay and you are provided with pool towels which are large a fluffy. There are 3 pools and plenty of sun beds I never had a problem getting one as there is a no reserve policy. We were only bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice the main evening meals looked so good that we booked in one night and were not disappointed. Although building work is going on it never affected us by the pool or anywhere else round the hotel . This hotel has everything for children and adults and is well worth the stay we will definitely be heading back there it’s a first class 3 star

This was a return trip to las Marismas. Unfortunately this time we were disappointed. Main issues were - No safety deposit box available in room for 3 weeks. This affected all apartments. Meant we had to carry passports etc around with us which was far from ideal. Not sure how this may have affected our travel insurance. Maid service erratic. Towels threadbare. We have fed back about this previously but no change. No English tv channels. Told this was a problem with the satellite - however plenty of German channels available. Maids throwing out/removing items (ie full wine bottle ) which had not been put in bin. Complained, but no one from hotel management responded. Advise against leaving items on worktops. Pool area only cleaned once a week. Majority of sunbeds old peeling wood. Cushions filthy. Reception manager and male staff curt and abrupt at times. Although not something the hotel can control, be aware that building works next door are very noisy. Apparently this will be long term. On a more positive note - We were half board. Breakfast good, dinners average. Pizzas were excellent though. We were treated like vip’s in the restaurant as returning guests. Many thanks to the waiting staff.

Amazing hotel really clean with lovely staff, was always greeted with a hello. The rooms are basic but functional with 2 big patio doors. BBQ night by far the best meal I had we were self catering and decided to try it no regrets. We ate at the snack bar which was also nice and fairly priced. We only ate once at the buffet which was lovely food. The pool was cold but plenty of people swimming in it. The building work yes you can hear it but never impacted our holiday once around the pool you tend to not notice it don’t let that put you off staying here. It is around a 20 minute walk to the bottom of the main *****, taxis are only €5 so we used them coming back. Overall a really relaxing break wouldn’t hesitate staying here if I was to visit Corralejo again.

Well, what can i say that hasnt been said before. Amazing hotel with happy friendly staff. Always smiling and seem so content in their jobs. The facilities are all working as should be and the pools are fantastic. One was warm, one cold and one kiddies. All are cleaned every 2nd day. Our apartment was spotless and stayed spotless as the cleaning staff called everyday, replaced the towels and keep us stocked up on complimentary shampoos and shower gels. We had a lovely view of the warmer pool and the sun hit our balcony at 12.30 pm everyday until sunset (2267). No air con but not needed with the ceiling fans. Although we were self catering, we stayed in for the food one night. It was bbq night, and was divine with so much of everything and cooked beautiful. We paid with our room card and settled on checkout. Two 3 course meals, with 3 beers and 3 glasses of red for €47.50. They have a different theme for dinner everyday, bbq night, spanish night, italian night, asian night etc etc. We stayed at bar area two nights for entertainment and it was excellent both nights, although we wished it was for longer. Overall we had a fantastic experience in Las Marismas and cant wait to go back. Thank you so much. TIP We did have a little complaint made against us on the 1st night about my gf's high heels being heard from the apartment below, so ladies ( and maybe gents lol )put your heels on as you are going out

Overall a good first visit to this hotel. Very friendly and helpful reception staff on arrival. We arrived at 11:30am and were informed our apartment wasn’t available yet. Gave my partners number and was informed we would receive a phone call to say when it’s ready. Waited till 4:15/30pm and I went up to reception and was informed it was now ready. My partner didn’t receive a call to say this in the end. On arrival, the apartment was clean, spacious and presentable. It was located in a quiet spot within the complex. We both had a very comfortable nights sleep during our stay. Loved the swimming pool and was able to get a sun lounger with no difficulty. Background noise of nearby building work didn’t phase us. Took advantage of the onsite breakfast, pool bar and dinning option. We went on international night for dinner and found there was plenty of choice. Would come back again, but maybe on a later flight due to late check in time.

Don’t know how to put this all into words! Amazing and should be 4 star for me. We were self catering but still had a look at the food throughout the complex and looked amazing. Not only looked we was told it really was by many people. Our room looked over the hotels mini golf course. The room itself was perfect for self catering and I can honestly admit I’ve never ever had such a most comfortable bed and the pillows were to die for so soft and plump. We loved our room and had such a laugh while on balcony talking to family playing mini golf. The pool are amazing. My personal favourite was the far bottom one with the wee water falls. The staff OMG. Respect to you all. Lovely friendly happy people that work really hard and should be given so much respect. If you’re lucky enough to stay in 2219 you will enjoy the banter with the mi I golfers. There is also a nice wee place as you walk out the hotel, turn right out the hotel and then another right and head down the road for about 3 minutes or so. A lovely area with bars restaurants shops. The ***** is out the hotel turn right at bottom turn left then you will find the top of the ***** from there and that’s only about a five minute walk to that but about 20 minutes to the beach and harbour area which is amazing. It’s so cheap everywhere too half price if not more for supermarkets restaurants and pubs. Actually probably pay a lot less then half price that we pay in England. Trust me if your due to come to this hotel please be reassured your holiday will be perfect! Thankyou las marismas and ohhh thankyou for my birthday bottle of wine and card. Really lovely hotel, very clean and tidy. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food nice always found something tasty. My 11 year old son struggled with the food a bit though. Apartments immaculate couldn’t fault at all. Used the squash courts, did the golf and joined in the Aqua Aerobics which was a really good work out. Close to water park which was ace and steady walk to the harbour which was absolutely beautiful. There was some building noise from neighbouring works but it certainly didn’t interfere with our holiday and was rather interesting to watch. Reasonably priced mini market and in future would be more tempted to not bother with AI as there were so many restaurants to try at a reasonable price Would certainly go back.
