We decided to go self-catering instead of all-inclusive this year, and Fuentepark kept popping up in the searches. It was ideal for what we needed/wanted... The location was perfect, and the main stretch was at the end of the street. Fuentepark itself was great for us..the appartments were a good size , bedroom had a huge amount of storage and a super comfy king size bed . The living area had a huge tv (we took our fire stick and it worked ) more storage, dining table and sofa that converted to 2 x single beds if needed. The kitchen had all the amenities you'd need. Kettle, toaster, full-size oven, tall fridge and small freezer, microwave, and much more . Bathroom is a good size with a fabulous shower. Yes, the rooms are far from modern.. but who spends a lot of time in there anyway ?They were more than adequate. Air conditioning was in main room but not in bedroom pool area was fine if you could get a bed ..it opened at 9.30 and it was an unbelievable sight to watch fully grown adults clattering over gates if there gate wasn't opened 1st..it does say no reserving of beds ,but no one took any notice and the staff don't police it .. we went down most mornings about 9.40 after the carnage had subsided and all beds had been taken ..well, all had towels on and only about 20% had people occupying them ..this was a little frustrating ,but I wasn't willing to degrade myself by participating in the race. There is a pool bar, resonable prices .. Happy hour, 3 pm to 4 pm (2 4 1) All in all we had a fabulous stay, the staff were great, the place was clean and the location perfect..what more do you need really? (Couple mid 50's)

This is in a great spot. It's about 5 mins walk to the beach, shops and about 10-15 stroll to the main square. Perfect. The apartments, although a bit dated have everything that you need, including an oven, hob, grill and full size freezer (we do a big shop and cook indoors so this is a plus). There is so much storage with hangers and drawers aplenty. There isn't a coat rack anywhere. The bed is absolutely massive and apparently comfortable (said the kids), we were relegated to bed settee so can't comment. The bed settee is doable and made up when you arrive. The balcony's are plentiful and ours was sun facing, I think they all are, with a maiden which is good cos I do my washing (is this actually a holiday). It states family friendly, I'm not doubting there maybe more kids in summer but we are the only family here (Jan). Questioned whether is was an adults only. The staff are so friendly, they speak great English and anything you ask they help with. We had a couple of ants (tiny no problem ones) and they were straight up and left us a spray. there are no cockroaches. The only problem that I can find with this hotel is that the pool is Baltic. We've not been able to have a pool day which is a shame because it's like cold water swimming. It's been 21 during the day but hasn't warmed up one iota sadly. If that was ever to change then we would absolutely return, however that's put us off coming back. There is a pool bar with happy hour between 3-4 and a pool table. You can hire an iron and ironing board and there is a hairdryer. It was my daughter's birthday while we were here and she got a lovely card and present from the hotel. If you don't use a pool then book it and you won't be disappointed x

This was my first time in Fuerteventura. The complex has a lovely homely, restful feel. Complex is a nice size, immaculately kept and location is very central. Yes, the apts are a little tired, but at the same time I have stayed in less nice 4 star hotels so was very pleasantly surprised. Good: -Apt sizes and balconies/terrraces are of generous size. Most times I didn't need to goto the pool as could chill in my own space. -Bed is massive, loads of wardrobe space and mattress very comfortable. -Kitchen small but everything you need. Bigger fridge / freezer and normal working oven and 4 place hob. -one street back from the main street and 2 streets from the beach so everything close to hand. -cleaning every 3 days, full bedding / towel changes. -staff friendly and helpful if you needed anything, but also discreet in the background. -nice little pool bar open for few hours daily. Things to note: -bus arrival/departure is at hotel in next street and you have to walk around to get into apt. Whilst not a long walk, often flights arrive late at night and if some folks have mobility issues is not great for them. Would definitely benefit if a gate could be inserted on the side where the hotel is. -Not an issue for me, but just to note for people with mobility issues need to be aware that there are steps to the pool. All in all a great holiday in a great complex and would certainly recommend it to others and would go back personally.

These are in the perfect location. Pool area was great, pool was cold but we didn't mind. Rooms are clean and spacious, a little dated but again we didn't mind. The reception was very helpful and friendly. Pool bar was amazing. Drinks and food were all good and staff was very friendly. The pool bar was very reasonably priced and was the reason we spent 4 days by the pool out of seven.

We stayed here from the 7th to 21st of September through jet2 holidays & it was the worst holiday we have ever had. The place was filthy with a cleaner coming in twice a week "to apparently clean" the bed base was like a torture rack with big bars of wood & rusty staples sticking through it & should have been put in a skip the mattresses were thin, tea towel never changed, cracked razor sharp tiles, ants every where, cobwebs, mold on wall at air con & in bathroom. no large cleaning brush or mop. Then the solid marble at the bathroom sink collapsed minutes after my husband had been standing there. We were then bribed by the hotel rep Michael & told if we signed a waiver saying all our issues had been resolved we could keep the room on for free on departure day "which was declined" I raised a complaint with jet2 & have been offered a £120 voucher which I have also declined. AVOID THIS HOTEL it is a filthy death trap. And the pool had paint all coming off it & was never cleaned either. Thus place is falling to bits & needs closed down & fully refurbished. How jet2 can sell this I don't know!!!!

Another lovely stay at Fuenterpark. We have been coming here for a lot of years now, and always enjoy our time here. Friendly helpful staff. Fridge/freezer, microwave, oven & hobs for self catering,Toaster & Kettle all included. Air con is a big bonus, though we were lucky we didn't need to use it this time. Fuenterpark is very close to all the Bars & Restaurants, and only 10 minute walk to the Beach. Thanks again for a pleasant stay. Pia you never age!

Visited here a few times always been really good but the sun bed hoggers have arrived to spoil it lots of people reserving sun beds and going out for the day they literally wait for the gate to open reserve sun beds and go out on 1 occasion 2 sun beds reserved with towels tables turned upside down and umbrellas on the sun beds they got back about half 5 from shopping to collect there towels one made a comment we should have got some clips for the towels to keep them on the sun beds making us think twice about coming back as can’t be bothered with sun bed wars staff fantastic as always shame certain holiday makers want to ruin it for others by being selfish (they were English) if your going out for the day let other people use the sun beds and don’t be selfish it would be nice if the lifeguard on duty see people who are not using the sun beds to take the towels away and let people use them we went to the beach most days because of the sun bed situation
