stayed here at Easter pools were freezing cold. even though stated they are heated. food wasn't the best, have to go early to get hot food, they love olives in all rice pasta dishes. so picking them all out wasn't fun. the hot tub in the pool was never on and that to was cold. slides had only opened the week before we arrived, so that was a good thing for my youngest. the older life guard was great , asking the younger kids if they could swim before they went down the slides and where the parent was sitting. as he told two young children with armbands on to go get the parents as they had let these little ones go off on their own from the other pool.one of the younger life guards was more interested in his phone than watching the kids on the slides. the snacks on an afternoon was terrible. hard bread ham and cheese sandwiches, a small bowl of fruit, hard croissant's , and mini cold hot dogs with buns. nothing was covered up so the birds had a field day flying in and out pecking at the bread. Entertainment was poor, so we ended up going for walks on a night after tea. the gym is laughable in a shed out the back with 1 item and a few weights. receptionist wasn't that helpful at all, as we arrived late i asked if there was any chance of a bite to eat or drink or some fruit that was visible behind the reception desk. was told "no". The cleaners seem to pop in randomly, they had already been in once on the morning , and came back for some reason on the afternoon, just as well we were in as my son had left his headphones on the bed on the morning. the room was basic to say the least, no aircon in the bedroom, just in the main living area where the tv is, you get a fridge that is empty, a kettle cups and glasses, so you cant even make a drink .. they don't provide you with tea coffee water. so what is the point of the kettle? especially when you arrive after midnight. kids club is laughable, i asked what was on and she said it depended if any kids turn up.. for the first few days you could get slushies for free, then the following day my son got told that it would be 1 euro for them. also they charged for tea and coffee at the outdoor bar. when the coffee machines where off. not very all inclusive.. the only good things about the hotel was the slides for kids, and that the drinks machines where turned around so you could help yourself to a drink, so it saved on waiting in queues at the bar. the waterpark is about 20 minute walk up the road, which we discovered was closed when we got there, apparently they close 2 days a week, this may change in peak season. be aware that you do get charged when you hire the rings i got 3 and it was 30 euros. you must keep your receipt or you wont get half your money back. Music square is good, the live music is great, and plenty of shops to look in. corralejo its self is beautiful, but i wouldn't stay here again.
