Wingate by Wyndham Corpus Christi

The ice machine was not very clean, over all good stay.

The stay was great. Great front desk service breakfast was good. Rooms and hallways were very dirty. My room had a bad smell of urine and something else but made the best of it.

Near a lot of stores to do quick shopping and close to the mall. Easy access to the highway. Only one elevator was working, and all electric equipment in the Fitness Center was broken.

The room are big. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are not really comfortable at the room we are stayed. The bathroom was clean the water pressure is slow. We are stayed on second floor. Air conditioner is a bit loud when it kick on in the middle of the night. Overall is good for stay overnight trip.

In general building needs some update. There was an odor as one steps out of the elevator. It seems the 4th floor needs to have the carpet cleaned. The room had the TV stand broken. Doors to the shower were hard to move & close. Room did need some minor repairs. There were some dents and pieces of wall missing. Little things that makes one think if this was the right choice. We did ask for some help with the AC and their maintenance worker was very helpful. He was friendly and quick to assist . I am unsure how old this building is but it seemed to show to much wear and tear. They could also work on their breakfast bar. Coffee was luke warm. I believe someone had mentioned it to the front desk but she said it was hot as she poured herself a sample. It was not as guests were just tossing their coffee. I give it a C+ there is still hope.

It was nice to stay here. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly!!!

The property had super nice staff from the desk to the manager to the janitors. Hotel rooms are small yet perfect, and mostly clean. I used a blacklight on the room and everything was great. The only issue was the bathroom had a dirty toilet and shower with the blacklight. Looks like they missed that. I bought lysol wipes and cleaned it, then used the blacklight again. Spotless after that. The shower had good water pressure but the sink was a weak trickle. It's enough to wash your teeth and hands if you take some extra time. The hot tub wasn't working but that didn't bother me. The only issue I had with the pool area was the ants trailing between tiles. I identified the ants and they're fire ants. Got bit by two. The pool needs to be sealed from the outside better and have those ants exterminated and sealed off from the outside. Breakfast was delicious yet small, but perfectly adequate. The waffles were great and huge and Texas shaped! There are places to eat nearby but you need a car. The crossing lights were all broken so it was impossible to walk anywhere since the traffic is busy. I'd visit again easily though! Great hotel itself and wonderful staff!

Staying in Corpus will forever be different now. I’m being honest, this place is the best I’ve found in 6 years. Daughter goes to Texas AnM CC and man, I wish I’ve chose this place way before.
