My extended family stayed at Hotel Leon d'Oro in Corleone for a few days in June. Even though we had a language barrier, the staff was wonderful and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely the best. We had dinners in their restaurant which was just below our rooms. The pool was cool and inviting. The grounds and views were beautiful. We could not have asked for a better stay. I hope we will return someday!

A warm and welcoming family operated hotel and fabulous restaurant. Spent a week there and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. Gianluca is the consummate host, brokered the language barrier for me, and lined up outstanding guides and transportation that made the visit so very special. The staff was charming and attentive. It is a quiet neighborhood and minutes from the citysites. The beauty of Corleone is in the farmland surrounding the area. There is so much more to Corleone than The Godfather. This was a delight, even for a world traveler.

When we arrived on Sunday for a two day stay, there was a huge wedding reception at the hotel. So check in was a bit chaotic but eventually we were looked after by Guiseppina who was the only employee we saw after that. We got the impression that their main business was events and their restaurant. But fortunately Guiseppina took us to our rooms in an annexe and was there at breakfast, friendly and helpful. We only saw one other party staying at the hotel but our two rooms were spacious, quiet and well-equipped. Be aware that the staff speak almost no English but we got by with our elementary Italian. The hotel is on the edge of town but it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk into the centre where there are bars and restaurants (but not much is open on Sunday and there are no buses to/from Palermo on Sunday). Nice, clean hotel to explore this fascinating town. Brush up your Italian before you go!

We had a great stay at the Leon d'Oro, despite we improvised the visit and we arrived very late at night, they were very warm and friendly to us, and made us feel just like home. Our room was confortable and warm as well, and they offer an abundant and complete breakfast. They have as well a good restaurant service.

Zimmer war enttäuschend. Das Wc im Zimmer war schmutzig, ich musste es erst desinfizieren… Bettlaken hatte einen Gelbstich. Die Hotelanlage ist jedoch sehr schön und das Restaurant ist auch zu empfehlen. Essen war fein und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.
