Simple facilities, very clean, good bed. The location is a short distance from the train station and the bus station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk after getting off the long-distance bus. It is a three-minute walk to the downtown area, where daily life is convenient yet quiet in the midst of bustle. The counter is not well staffed, so you may have to wait a while. The wireless network is not fast, the Internet is usable, and the streaming is not smooth.

We loved the convenience of the hotel - walking distance of everything in Cork City Centre. The staff were very helpful. The only big downside was that our room backed onto a homeless hostel
and sadly this was very noisy with shouting and swearing through the night 😢😢😢😢 which kept us awake pretty much all night last night. The rooms were too hot for the three of us to have the window closed. The rooms overlooking the river were probably amazing
The bright and open lobby layout is paired with contemporary furniture. The ''Plug and Meet'' gathering areas provide modern ergonomic seating, large writing walls and 56 inch televisions for presentation projection. The lobby also boasts a state-of-the art video wall and 24/7 Food & Beverage offering a wide selection of snacks and drinks. Other hotel amenities include continental breakfast, and a bar featuring wines by the glass and local brews. All bedrooms are equipped with 50 inch flat screen televisions, build in USB ports and free Wifi.

It was a wonderful Victorian-style hotel. The hotel was remodeled from a former hospital building, and it has luxurious spaces. The rooms were clean and spacious, of course. The bathrooms were also of a high standard. It was impressive that they eliminated the bathtub to save water consumption in order to maintain the sustainability that the hotel aims for. I hope it will continue to develop as a good accommodation.

Because we have two children, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite with two single beds for an additional 35 euros. It was so cute. The hotel is huge and the environment is super beautiful. Children can also rent bicycles for free and watch ponies. Apart from the relatively remote location, there are no disadvantages and it’s very cost-effective!

The service staff was friendly and the accommodation was very good. The hotel also provides bathrobes and disposable slippers. Not too far from the Cork Center. Compared to the four-star hotel of the same price I stayed near Dublin Airport, all aspects are much better. Unfortunately, time is tight and there is no free pool and sauna to enjoy.

The best hotel in Cork, but unfortunately it is a bit far from the city center, more than 3 kilometers to the train station, and it is not very convenient to take the bus. The room area is not very large, and the room facilities are quite complete. The hotel service is very good, and it can respond quickly. When checking out, they also extended the room. The hotel breakfast is in the form of ordering and buffet, but the variety of buffet is very limited, but the taste of the order is very good.

Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then.
Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.

Great
GGuest UserFabulous views from our bedroom and dining room. Hosts were lovely. It was just a few minutes walk to Baltimore pier, so we didn't need to use the car.
GGuest UserThe Montenotee hotel is an experience of its own , fantastic views over the city , amazing interior design, delicious food and professional staff .. The glasshouse is superb with quality cocktails and surroundings. Highly recommend.
PPhoenixaExcellent hotel with a perfect balance ”price=location=cleanliness”. Friendly staff, small but cosy room with new furniture and equipment. Huge public areas, like a TV room, sitting rooms, kitchens. All very clean too. Certainly recommend!
GGuest UserThe receptionist a mature lady ensured from the minute we arrived that all would go well even if we were English. She helped my wife with the local Pharmacy (thank you). The hotel has ample parking. Parts of the hotel actually have an interesting Irish Rail history as well. The hotel is right next to a decent high street 5minute walk away. They also served Murphy's in the bar! The room was good but it was the history inside the hotel and the conversion of the Railway bridge into a drinking area very novel. Breakfast was very good and competative no complaints from me Irish Breakfast same as an English to me! Would we stay there again yes we are planning to again next year. Iy is only a 45min drive drom Cork airport.
FFeahrwolfGreat stay at Maldron Hotel Cork
The hotel is located in the centre of Maldron Hotel Cork and has a very positive experience.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help.
The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable.
GGuest UserI am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home.
The employees were quite kind and helpful too.
Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into.
I will return for sure.
GGuest UserAbsolutely brilliant hotel. Staff were nothing next to amazing, especially John (guest relations). Every hotel should have a John. Brilliant. Bar staff again brilliant. Food was amazing. And nothing was ever a problem. Hated checking out.

GGuest UserI got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight.
Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.
SSharmaSachinThe hotel was okay overall, but there were a few things that could definitely be better. Water bottles weren’t given every day—you only get them if you ask, which felt a bit inconvenient. It’s something you expect to be taken care of without having to remind them. The internet in the room was quite slow. It worked, but not great—good enough for checking messages, but not reliable if you need to do work or stream anything. On the bright side, the lobby looked really nice—clean, modern, and a good place to sit and relax for a bit. In short, it’s not a bad place, but a few small improvements could make the stay much more comfortable. Swimming pool service was good.
AAlison DaveyFabulous and friendly staff. A huge asset.
Above the ground floor the hotel was pretty grim.
So uncared for it feels grubby. See pictures of the room, view and the only plug socket in the room (to use the kettle the entire kettle tray needed to be balanced on a chair infront of it)
Room hot with no fan and the noise that went on until after 1am by screeching young adults (unchecked by staff) meant that opening a window wasn’t an option. Very expensive for a hotel room that should be in the £40 bracket not over £100
