This was our first B & B experience, and it was disappointing. The host was friendly enough but didn’t say much. Since we were newbies to the experience, it made it a little tough. The location is super far out from town center so it was not convenient for hanging out, especially if you don’t want to drive into town. Breakfast was delicious, so that was a plus and the room had a private bath. However, the shower wouldn’t work, and we didn’t feel like we could ask the host for help..

The lady who welcomes us is shy, certainly, but very pleasant and gentle. Very warm welcome, very pretty and very clean room. Pleasant breakfast. A good place to stay for the night. Quiet house. In addition, the town of Kinsale is very pretty to visit.

In a quiet countryside location near Kinsale, we enjoyed a clean and well-proportioned room with good quality bedding and an en-suite bathroom, all very clean. Breakfast (Irish or continental) was very good. Discreet and friendly hosts.

Very cold room despite the heating. Very old bathroom. Little hot water. Bathroom linen that has a bad smell. Breakfast: no choice of cereals. The Irish breakfast plate is heated in the microwave. We had more hard-boiled eggs than fried eggs. The doors are all closed on the ground floor, not very welcoming. It was our last b&b of the week, by far the worst.
