Ballycommane House & Garden

What a haven of comfortable peace and quiet with excellent, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts such a pleasure to stay there. Surrounded by fantastic gardens with plants from all over the world our only regret was due to "soft" rainy weather most days not to have been able to spend more time enjoying them. Having said that the soft rain did not impair our pleasure of visiting the area which is really beautiful and interesting.

Very stylish accommodation, spotlessly clean and set in beautiful gardens with a friendly and knowledgeable host who serves a great breakfast. This is a brilliant place to stay if you're looking for somewhere combining old world charm with all the modern facilities.

Stayed overnight while attending a wedding in Blairs cove. Not a bit surprised by the wonderful reviews here, every word is true. Felt so welcomed by Ingolf and could have honestly spent days listening to his knowledge of gardening and local history. The house is gorgeous but the garden is absolutely magical. Breakfast was high quality and made more special by some of the produce coming from the garden (try the fennel bread). I would highly recommend the experience of staying in Ballycommane House and it's a great base for exploring beautiful West Cork.

A great place to stay - a great combination of warm Irish hospitality paired with German attention to detail! Breakfast was lovely and the room was spotless. Nice touches like tea and snacks available and a beautiful, welcoming garden to explore. A great place to stay in the area. Highly recommended.
