Reception staff very helpful when I forgot my bag. My room was decent. Didn't try the restaurant. Would stay again.

The hotel has changed its owner, some facilities are being renovated, and the rooms are spacious. Not many people are staying in the hotel, it is recommended by customers, but the price-performance ratio is not high Dinner in the restaurant, the food is not good, the sausages are burnt.

The pillows and duvet were beautiful, so soft but still light! Unfortunately, you don't get any bottoled water in the room anymore - shame! For the amount of hot drinks available in the room there is by no means enough milks sachets - there are only 2 of each (whole and semi skimmed) and this is not enough for a decent hot drink unless you want the spoon to stand up in it!! Other than that, the new rooms are really, really nice

We selected this hotel as it was very close to our wedding venue (Rockingham Castle). The rooms had recently undergone refurbishment so were fresh and of a good quality for this standard of hotel. The staff were very attentive and knowing that we were staying for our wedding, they made our stay extra special with excellent service and going above and beyond to any requests we had, such as having breakfast room service; something they don't typically offer currently.

Lovely hotel that’s going through a lot of changes. We have stayed a few times over the years. Our previous stay last year wasn’t that great if I’m honest but this made up for it. I was allocated a newly refurbished room and Clare on reception was just delightful. I stayed at a hotel down the road when I was last in Corby but I’ll definitely be back here.

The complaints & issues are numerous & have been fed back to the Hotel. While I understand this hotel is currently being renovated & 'expects' to upgrade from a 3 to 4 Star, in my opinion it currently doesn't meet 2 Star standards & I've stayed in many B&B's that would put it to shame.

This hotel has undergone a massive refurbishment and looks modern with contemporary decor in all the public areas. New restaurant manager Gavin was on call all weekend and ensured we had all we needed. Food service was a little slow and the food is adequate with a varied menu. Buffet style breakfast and serve yourself for hot breakfast. Large selection available. Just wish they would serve pots of tea and coffee at the table and also toast, rather than having to queue to toast your own. The rooms are all of a high standard and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Downside is no lift as only on two floors. The stairs are incredibly steep. Plenty of ground floor easy access rooms with walk in showers. We stayed in His Lordships Suite which is just at the top of the stairs and is traditionally decorated with oak panelled walls. Massive room wirh bedroom and lounge and equally massive bathroom with corner Jacuzzi bath and separate shower.
