Southampton West

Me & my son have stayed at multiple premier inns around the country. This premier inn is by far our favourite. The bedrooms & bathrooms are always clean. The staff there are so kind, helpful & friendly. From the manager Sharan who is absolutely the sweetest lady to all the other staff. They always make you feel welcome. The breakfast is fantastic I had the full English & the food was lovely, my son had yogurt, toast & croissants which he said were lovely. When we visit Paultons park we will always stay at this hotel. The only downside is there’s no air con & the fan we had wasn’t helping.

We stayed here for 1 night so we could catch our cruise the next day. It was only a few miles to the docks and this was the closest Premier Inn that had onsite parking - so that's why we chose this one over a closer Premier Inn to the docks. The guy behind the desk was super helpful & nice. The room was clean & tidy - the only downfall was no aircon. We had 2 fans in the room but it was still like a sauna. Come night time it was cooler outside than in the room. Breakfast was very pleasant

Lovely premier inn! Room nice and clean, staff very friendly and good location. Ate in the breakfast room, was a little busy due to school holidays but the breakfast team were on it with ensuring the buffet was constantly topped up and tables were clean ready for the next guests. Reception team also lovely when checking us in. Have stayed here a few times and always felt welcome each time. Special thanks to Sharon, Summer and Ali! Thankyou for having us. We will be back next time!

We stayed here when visiting Paultons Park. The location and cost suited us perfectly. Unfortunately they seem to lost the hoover. The hallway between rooms was disgusting, it looked like it hadn’t been hoovered for a LONG time, there was dirt in every corner. In the room, we had a double bed, a single, a camp bed and a cot. Thankfully we didn’t need the cot as I wouldn’t have let my child lay in the dirt. We moved the camp bed closer to the single bed to stop our little one falling out in the night and there was a wall of dust - I guess the camp bed doesn’t get put away and the floor doesn’t get hoovered there either. The bathroom was ok, and the Bayliss and Harding products are a nice touch. The best part was the restaurant, and the breakfast was up to Premier Inn standard.

Stayed there many times over the years because it's location to what we want is great. Hotel is now very tired and shabby, food looked awful in the restaurant with no salads or vegetables. Carpets were filthy, no air conditioning, and the shower head showered the bathroom not just you. Wont be staying there again

We have stayed at this hotel many times and been pleased with our stay. NOT this stay. We were given Room 116 on a Saturday night. We checked in and then left to spend the evening with our son and family. When we returned, the windows were open as it was a warm night. We were greeted by a drone noise from below, which went on to approximately midnight. It sounded like an air conditioning unit. In the morning, we realised it was actually the ventilation system for the kitchen when it started again, and the strong smell of bacon assaulted our senses and permeated into everything in the room. We had booked breakfast but having had the room smell like a greasy spoon cafe, neither of us fancied it. In fact the smell had made my wife feel nauseous. I complained at reception and neither of the receptionists seem to take me seriously. I asked for a refund for the breakfast we weren't going to eat, to be told I couldn't be given a refund and I would have to ring the central customer service team on a week day.
