It wasn't my first time in Copenhagen but I'm sure that if I will come back again Phoenix Copenhagen will be my hotel. Excellent position in the heart of the city, really close to all the main attractions and metro. The hotel its huge, very clean, the staff super friendly and gentle. In the room the coffee it's free and there is a mini bar that's ok. Really recommended.

Everything was great and it's the perfect place to meet new people. However, the wait for the lift is extremely long, and it can get pretty hot in summer as the windows can only be partially opened. Lack of places to hang the towels as well though the storage lockers and big and great.

Stayed here for a week.
The nuts were delicious. It felt like a fairytale world.
Copenhagen is a bit cold in the summer. You have to wear a down jacket when you go out at night.
The design is OK but the quality is average. People who pursue quality can stay in another hotel called Sander. It is very comfortable there.

Great hotel and convenient to walk to all major attractions and city centre. Around 20mins from airport by metro and a 5minute walk to hotel. The staff were very friendly and made sure to leave a birthday treat for us which was appreciated. For the price of the hotel it's a pity that they only provide one bottle of water and later charge 55k for a new bottle. Most hotels will replenish this free daily. Overall very comfortable stay.

The two male receptionists at the night shift are fabulous. They are not only nice and helpful in giving grocery and money exchange information, but also very willing to share the Copenhagen culture with us.
They are very friendly which has given us remarkable hospitality.
The room is not big but very enough for 2 person, yet, the tidiness is satisfying with this price. The window outside is the road and sea, quiet and beautiful, very enjoyable living.
There is no toothpaste, toothbrush or slippers, please prepare for yourself, given that the hotel price is really low compared to other options.
Will definitely recommend to friends or family who wanna come visit Copenhagen.

Outstanding
IIan CarterPretty good if you just need a place to crash solo and don’t plan on spending much time there. Definitely got good sleep and the bathroom and sauna are nice. Just bring earplugs in case the couple in the pod above you is arguing all night. A gym would bring the amenities up to four stars.
HHappylfgThe location is both highly desirable and visually stunning, offering an ideal setting that combines beauty and convenience. Its picturesque charm makes it an attractive choice for various purposes, whether for leisure, events, or as a serene retreat. The surroundings are not only aesthetically pleasing but also provide a sense of warmth and welcoming ambiance, creating a perfect balance between practicality and elegance.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, near the New Port. It takes 700 meters to walk from the airport to the New Port by subway. The main attractions can be reached on foot, such as the New Port, Rosenborg Palace, Frederick Church, Mermaid, etc. The room is on the canal, with a panoramic view of the Opera House and the Royal Theater. Although the room is not big, it has a strong sense of design, good quality, and antique style. There is a Chinese restaurant (Dongyuan) near the New Port, and the food is OK.
AAlex LBooked Coco hotel on a sort of a rush for New Year and by a recommendation from a friend. When I checked the reviews later on was a bit hesitant about my decision, complaints about cleaness, noise, service.
In my case I found all the opposite.
First great surprise: I had to make an ammendment on my booking and Coco hotel staff was accomodating.
Service and communication: Before my arrival, I made few inquiries by email to Coco Hotel. I got everything sorted out, the replies were fast and got tons of useful information.
Room were not big, not great but for Europe and Particularly Copenhagen standards were good enough
I stayed in Winter so a fridge wasn't something i really needed.
Room service came everyday, very clean and kind, always with a smile.
Coco Hotel also has a very nice Coffee/bar on the first floor. I was staying on the level 1 (not ground level) and hardly heard a noise
Lonela and Saulius at the frontdesk were always responsive and very very ver kind.
GGuest UserNeat enough old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen near all things of interest, we enjoyed being able to walk out and find food, transport, parks and shops close by. The hotel itself is a classic old Copenhagen building which shows its age and while I'm sure some find it charming, I would say it's a bit below the standard you come to expect from more modern buildings. The staff was friendly and wanted to accommodate us although the cleaning staff seemed so into their own business that they wouldn't even notice us as we tried getting into the hotel's single elevator, rushing in before us so we almost collided as it didn't seem they were gonna come back inside the lift having just exited. No polite apologies either and on top of that the hallway was at almost all times we came through them, day or night, full of trolleys with used towels, jackets hanging on random hooks and generally just felt cluttered. Don't know if this was on all floors but it gave a weird impression disorder walking through the already-creaky hallway.
As for the room itself, it covered our needs and we didn't have issues with noises from other guests other than those walking through the hallway but at least the walls, floor and ceiling didn't cause disturbance. The beds were a little too soft for our liking and left us feeling sore the day after. Also a shame we didn't get the double-bed we had requested during the booking process. Somehow they mixed that up and reception staff didn't seem to know what our booking involved when we showed up. We decided the twin beds provided could be pushed together instead and leave it at that as we had been up at 4 in the morning and were exhausted. A final note on the room would be the weird furniture choices. You get these bed side tables that look like a school kid's wood working project, kind of rough around the edges and felt very cheap and sort of sloppy from a decorating point of view. In contrast, the reception cafe has a wonderful interior and is very charming so I was a fair bit disappointed that the room gave me this impression.
All in all, the hotel covered the features it should but I had really expected better from the impression I got when making the booking originally. Location is, however, enough of a pull to make up for the negative aspects. Perfect location for sightseeing and access everywhere.
DdyhxConvenient location. 20 mins metro ride from the airport and the hotel is a short walk away from the station and central train station. Though the pathway has cobbled stones so could be challenging dragging luggages across.
I booked a single room and upon getting to my first room, I realized I had to manoeuvre a flight of steps to get to the room, which I immediately u-turned back to the reception to ask for a room change. That's when I was told that all single room types are at the 'sub levels' that have stairs. I wished someone mentioned this in the reviews earlier. It was already a pain dragging a heavy luggage on carpet, this is made worse with the flight of steps in between.
The room is small but they have put in smart features to maximize space. I like the open wardrobe concept and how they've incorporated the luggage rack as a folding style from the mirror/wardrobe.
Shower area is a bit small, but water pressure of the rain-shower head is good. Bed and pillow are softer than I would prefer. The pillow is so soft it's almost as good as not having one.
Breakfast was excellent, a good spread of pastries, bread, cold cuts, yoghurt, cereals, eggs and sausages. I love it that the staff are very prompt in refilling whatever is running low and in clearing plates.
CcheungwendyI stayed for 4 nights. The toilet is cleaned every day. And bedsheets are changed very now and then. They even have events written on a board.
JJinjuthaThe hotel is very stylish and the location is great. We got the room in the back building. When we checked in the front desk staff escorted us to the room. I thought he was really nice but actually because the room is very difficult to find. We walked to another building in the back of the hotel, took the elevator to second floor, then walked little bit and then walked down the stair to our room.
The room is smaller than I expected. It located on the ground floor, close to the dumpster and the hotel kitchen. There is a security right above our window. The worst thing happened at 4.00 am when we woke up because restaurant’s staff threw the trash in the dumpster. It was so loud! I’m pretty sure there were some glasses in the trash bag. We were trying to get back to sleep but couldn’t because other staff keep dumbing trash. It was the worst experience ever! We couldn’t sleep until 6 am the we decided to get up and left the hotel.
GGuest UserThe hostel is in the best location, in the city center and near to everything (sightseeings, train station, metro, etc)! We didn’t like our room. The bed was inside a capsule with stains on the mattress and there was no space for our suitcases and backpacks, so we basically slept with them. The bathrooms and showers were in a good condition and quite clean.
5/10!
GGuest UserI loved this hotel! Clean, comfortable, smart, awesome location (5 mins from the central station by bus and 2 mins by metro), nice staff with reception open 24/7 and so many things to offer. I was surprised the price was so low since it’s got everything you could possibly need. I’ve had a perfect stay!
