We loved this hotel. We shared a twin room with a street view. Location was excellent and we were able to walk everywhere. Very easy to get to from the airport. Furnishings were lovely. The bathroom was really tiny and needed more hooks and shelves but didn't really spoil the experience. The bonus was the pool area although it was very crowded by the end of the day. Breakfast was great and we also had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. We would happily return.

From the super cool rooms that felt special and new to the sustainability story and unique shower, to the community refrigerators to the POOL that was warm and lovely to the GREAT staff who were kind and helpful to the all organic, big, breakfast. All of it. We would be so honored to return! The bikes are plentiful and we borrowed to ride through the ginormous, woodsy park (find the horses!) and felt like we spent as much time in nature as we did in the world's most carbon-neutral city. The walk from the train stop to the hotel is about 7 minutes. Easy, no hills and we moved our wheeled luggage easily. If you are early and cannot yet check in, go to Wulff & Konstantini for brunch/breakfast! Enjoy!

We chose this hotel for the beauty of it and beautiful it was. The room decor is very beautiful and quirky, as is the whole hotel. We loved the interior design and the theme of the room, the common areas and the garden. I guess eco is supposed to stand for ecological, but here it sometimes seems to mean economical and trying to everything as cheap as possible (using same old linen, no refrigerator in the room, no bathrobes in our room and a very strangely working shower), while charging the top price from the customers, comparable to all other 4-star Copenhagen hotels. The shower was a bit difficult to use at first, but once we got used to it, it was okay. On our arrival, the receptionist gave a long explanation about the breakfast and dinner options at their hotel, but mentioned nothing about having a swimming pool, gym or the steam room and sauna. This was disappointing. It was impossible to miss the gym when walking out of the hotel or the pool as we saw it from our room window. But the sauna and steam room is not well marked in the pool area (see picture) and we didn’t even notice them until during our last evening at the hotel. So during our 5-night stay, we weren’t able to use them for most of the time, because we didn’t even know they existed. We thought the entrance to the sauna/steam room area was the entrance to the pool area bathroom. Of course, the poor signage at the pool area wouldn’t have been a problem, if the receptionist had informed us about all their facilities and their opening hours already at the check-in, as is customary in 4-star hotels. But she didn’t and now we were left with 4 days of disappointment out of 5 for not knowing about them and not being able to use them. We had probably learnt about all these facilities when we made the booking 3 months earlier, but after making several other bookings since then, we had completely forgotten all about it by the time we checked-in here. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was very disappointing. I tried to order a gnocchi dish at 20.30, but they told me they are completely out of it, even though the restaurant is open till 23.00. You would think that they can run to the store and buy some pasta or cook more pasta easily, if they run out of it. Then we tried to order a stuffed chicken dish and asked if they could stuff the chicken with other vegetables instead of mushrooms. But they said it isn’t possible to do that, since the mushrooms are already inside the dish. It seems that they don’t make their own dishes here at the kitchen, but only heat them. This is very sad to see in a supposedly 4-star hotel, where we would expect much more quality from the kitchen. When we tried to pay the restaurant check, the waitress disappeared in the middle of the payment process and left as just sitting there with the card reader machine asking questions in Danish, and we didn’t no what to do with it. She was too busy spending a long 10 minutes chatting with some other guests in

We loved this hotel - the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and bar were both fantastic, the rooms had lots of space, everything was nicely decorated (we particularly liked the fish chandeliers and the hanging chairs in the lobby). There were kiosks on each floor for late night snacks and drinks (and free tea/coffee). It was a short walk to the nearest metro, and then only two stops into the centre, or a 30min walk into the centre. Sadly we did not find time to use the pool area, but that looked great too.

Good hotel with some great touches and some things that can be improved. The courtyard spa area is wonderful, shame its in full shadow though. And the pool is small but some lengths are doable. I loved this tranquil area BUT intensely disliked that smoking was allowed around the pool. This made me leave the pool on occasion as taking deep breaths of second hand smoke whilst swimming was absolutely foul. Keeping the smoking only area over by the gazebo would make better sense I liked my bed but my wife found hers too hard and also very creaky...I think her bed may have had some coming apart issues. The bathroom was fine with super hair and skin products provided. The hotel is perfectly placed for an easy walk into the city and for the yellow line from the airport. All staff we met were super friendly. The end of each corridor coffee and drinks station was a brilliant touch. We enjoyed this idea very much for a nice quality coffee. You could also get alcoholic drinks and some snacks here on a honesty box basis. The only area to sit in the sun was a few tables outside of the restaurant along a not particularly pretty road which stopped us using the bar...The large restaurant alongside the canal towards town opposite the swim area was our chosen sundowner spot. We didnt do breakfast as although it looked nice and clean it appeared very sweet/wheat/fruit based which is not an ideal start to a day..there was some egg and bacon style produce but it looked very much an afterthought. A savoury rather than sweet breakfast is rapidly being shown through glucose research as an healthier choice though many hotels still seem to think fruit/ pancakes/low fat yoghurts/breads/toast is healthier-it really isnt! A good tip is cafe Wolfgang about a 10 min walk towards the canal did a lovely Tapas style breakfast with good egg/ salmon/ bacon/ sausage options. Overall a solid 4 stars from me and 3.5 from my wife for the hotel and we would definitely stay again. 5 stars for Copenhagen, a quite lovely city we enjoyed very much with lots to see. We walked many kilometres every day.

This is not a 4 star hotel. This is a big disappointment on my end. It started at check in when the agent tried to charge me more for a deposit I shouldn’t have to pay. Then comes all the greedy ways for them to make money on your back. I paid a supplement for pool and spa access, except it is always crowded with no space at all therefore I have not been able to use any of these services I paid for. I also paid for the breakfast that they sell as their “signature breakfast” but it is deeply underwhelming. The first morning there were too many people I was placed in the back in a different soulless room, there were people standing everywhere waiting for a table and the buffet was crowded it was impossible to access the food. I had to leave after 5 minutes due to feeling overwhelmed by such a mess. On the second day I showed up at 7 am to be sure to have a spot and that’s the time I realised how poor this breakfast was. The third day I skipped it entirely due to the massive crowd I went to a local bakery. The last day it was still very crowded. Now comes the fridge on every floor, you don’t have one in your room. It’s one big fridge on each floor where you can leave food however said food would disappear overnight. This is the same vibe as a cheap hostel. It’s two supplements I paid for that were way below standards. I’d like to remind you that they apparently are a 4 star hotel. I paid a heavy price to get to this hotel and was disappointed. They sell this hotel as a great spot but it’s not tranquil at all, the pool is always crowded making huge noise and there is apparently a school nearby. I feel like my money was stolen and I was lied to on the product that was sold.

Very friendly staff and good food. Our room was very small though as well as the swimming pool. If there were 4 people in the pool it was hard to swim a lap. No AC anywhere in the hotel which made it sometimes stuffy. Hotel is located a bit further away from downtown.

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of nice design touches. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room again is well designed with 4 poster beds and exposed brickwork. Breakfast was good, lots of options- amazing scrambled eggs. The pool area is lovely and the sauna and steam room will be great in the colder months. there were a few misses: The rooms don't have air conditioning and the hotel was really quite hot- we had to keep the bedroom balcony doors open- but in the evening there is quite a bit of noise from people drinking in the courtyard below and in the morning there is a kindergarten/nursey next to the hotel so we were woken up every morning by noisy kids at 7:30am. there are no pool attendants so you have to queue up in reception to ask for a pool towel and when we got to the pool in the evening it was quite untidy with lots of empty glasses and rubbish from previous guests. we went during school holidays and there were a lot of children especially in the pool- so whilst it might look tranquil in the photos it certainly isn't during school holidays! There is a communal kitchen on each floor to make tea/coffee, get snacks, use fridge. I have to say it did feel like a youth hostel- queuing up in my PJs in the early morning to make a coffee.
