Disappointed by the stay. Location wasn’t as central as I had thought. Breakfast simple but not worth the additional cost. Ceiling lighting fell down and could have caused a serious injury. Asked for 5am wake up call and didn’t receive call until 5:15am.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel in July 2025, where I booked a Standard Room. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable and memorable. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made my stay even more comfortable. The room was impeccably clean, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. One of the standout features was the beautiful, warm pool that provided a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring and metro station is 5 minutes walk. Overall, I would rate my stay at Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel a solid 9/10. The combination of excellent service, clean accommodations, and a relaxing pool area makes it a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

A hidden gem in Copenhagen! We had a wonderful stay at Bryggen Guldsmeden. The vibe of the hotel is warm and relaxed, with thoughtful decor that makes the whole place feel inviting. Our room was super cosy—comfortable, stylish, and just the right size for unwinding after a day in the city. The location is superb: peaceful but close to everything, with easy access to central Copenhagen. And the spa was absolutely lovely. A perfect way to recharge. Highly recommended!

Good organic food very eco efficient. Very welcoming young staff especially Jacob who was very good when food was forgotten and cold. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

This hotel was probably awesome 10 years ago. Today, it is a little short-staffed and most of the appliances are a bit broken. Our stay felt dodgy--the lock on our room didn't work for the first day, and four policemen showed up on the floor to kick someone out. Late night food options are very limited. At least the sauna and spa are lovely!

Hotel was clean, service was fine. Location has its pros and cons. It is not in the central part of town so there’s a bit more of an authentic feel to the area where locals reside. However, it is a 10-15 minute taxi ride to get to the central part of Copenhagen where the main sites, restaurants and parks are and easier to get to other neighborhoods like Norrebro. This hotel had a bohemian feel to it almost like a higher end hostel. Though has a social atmosphere to it which is nice if you are spending time there.

Wonderful Stay! Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were beautiful—cozy, well-designed, and very comfortable. I especially loved the pool and sauna, which made for a perfect way to unwind. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable experience!
