Disappointed by the stay. Location wasn’t as central as I had thought. Breakfast simple but not worth the additional cost. Ceiling lighting fell down and could have caused a serious injury. Asked for 5am wake up call and didn’t receive call until 5:15am.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel in July 2025, where I booked a Standard Room. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable and memorable. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made my stay even more comfortable. The room was impeccably clean, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. One of the standout features was the beautiful, warm pool that provided a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring and metro station is 5 minutes walk. Overall, I would rate my stay at Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel a solid 9/10. The combination of excellent service, clean accommodations, and a relaxing pool area makes it a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Eco friendly but overpriced for meh quality We stayed as a family for three nights on our first visit to Copenhagen. The family room was quite spacious. We loved the Eco friendly touches.Lacked a few things we would’ve liked, including at least a small refrigerator, air conditioning, space for storage of our clothing and toiletries, and a bathroom for each one of the family. Front desk staff was not so friendly. Hot tub and pool were full of leaves. Cleaning of the rooms during the day was not executed well (none of the trash was removed, nothing was straightened up or organized, and the beds were only barely remade, with some sheets, still rolled up in the corner of the room). The aesthetic of the hotel were beautiful, but I would not stay there again for the exorbitant price.

Overall experience was as promised, but the showers were such a nuisance that we won’t come back. You have to wait a long time for water and even then it’s low-pressure. After each use (plus once every afternoon on its own) it starts a very loud cleaning process, too. Also noteworthy: a LOT of kids (making a splash in the pool as well) even though it looks like an adult-style hotel. Breakfast extremely crowded (but good). Area is nice and quiet and we slept very well.

We loved our stay here enjoyed being a little bit out of city life to really enjoy the break. Metro, bus & harbour bus links are within easy walking distance. The rooms are small but well equipped and the breakfast was a standout! Staff super friendly and attentive.

The staff is amazing and friendly. Amazing bfast, great pool area, rooms are clean and nice. Was loud though at night because there was some type of construction going on only at night. I would still stay again.

My wife and I were on a two week vacation and after coming off a $2000 a day Silver Sea Cruises ship this was a refreshing and welcoming hotel, fantastic staff and a wonderful place to stay
