My husband and I were looking for a weekend gateway and we found this amazing place. From the minute we arrived at Hemlock, campground & cottages everything was easy breeze. The check in was fast, the owner provided us with the key and the guided map of the beautiful property. We picked a cottage and we couldn’t be more happy. It’s was cute, super clean and full equipped with everything we could possibly needed and more. Even a fan! Regardless the cottages have a/c. Guests can also pick cabins or if they have RV’s there’s a huge and well kept land to camp with your own RV. The grounds are immaculate clean and well decorated. The campground has a game and meet & greet room. They also do activities for the families , they have a nice heated pool, yay! And the best part… they are pet friendly. Yes, you don’t have to leave your 4 legs friend home while you are on vacation. The campground is located near 611, where mayor Poconos attractions are . Next time you plan a trip to Poconos area, tobyhanna, PA, stay at Hemlock! Thank you !

We have been coming to this campground for years. This summer we decided to spend a week long vacation here in August and were not disappointed! The campsites are beautiful, well-maintained and level. We camp in a travel trailer, but the tent sites are lovely as well. The pool is clean and always heated to a perfect tempurature. The bathhouse is always clean and smells pleasant! The campstore is deceivingly small, yet well-stocked! Every time we have needed something last minute, we find it there! The seasonal campers are friendly and always welcoming to transients, which is much appreciated! It is a pleasure to deal with the owners, Barbara and Craig who are so kind, helpful and professional! We had trouble with our truck while on vacation (which is super scary when you are towing a 32 ft trailer!) and Barbara quickly referred us to a local mechanic who was equally helpful and squeezed us in. Craig spent a lot of time with our friends trouble shooting the cable in their site (which turned out to be the TV, NOT the cable). They are just good people and obviously proud of their campground! We definitely recommend this campground!

All bad reviews that owner rude is true. I booked 1 bdr cottage for 2 night stay with my family(two kids). Room was smelling of smoke and dog pee. I asked the owner to change the room but she refused to do it with the reason no available cottage right now. Despite all cottages around were empty. Then we told her that we have no choice but stay(because didn't want to ruin vacation on first day) but also my wife told her that she will write review about smell. Then she turned to angry mode. She and her husband tried to find justification to kick us out from the campground. And they found it. My 13 years old daughter was in a swimming pool and suddenly she approaches to us with aggression like: "your daughters lied to me with saying she is almost 14 when she is actually 13. So she can't be in the swimming pool by herself and for that reason we have to leave. After back on forth police came and told us that the business owner doesn't want you guys on their property so leave. So again, first day and they asked us to leave in middle of the night with two kids(5 and 13). She said going to refund all amount and I didn't argue at the beginning tried to be nice and deescalate the situation but owner openly said that she doesn't like my wife and will not let her stay here. Wow... she really was a mean to us promised to refund but after packed up she hide behind a closed doors and didn't even want to take the key )) Long story short every bad review about rudeness of these people are true. This business with this behavior's should go out of the business very soon.

This friends is one of the nicest campgrounds I have been to in a while. Owners have tons of personal pride in there park. Speaking of owners they are just super nice and helpful. If you are traveling near this area make this one of your stops. Great sites, nice pool.

Great place to stay
This is a great family place for camping staying in a cottage lot of things to do there the cottage me and my fiance Stadium was extremely clean people that work there are very nice extremely quiet there very peaceful
