Overall we had a great stay at the hotel. The location, although it appears on google maps to be a little outside of the city centre, is actually very convenient. There are several bus lines that will get you to the city centre (which for me, means the DuSable bridge) in less than 10 minutes. A couple of things to note. To access the free WiFi you need to have a Bonvoy account (free to create) Regarding the breakfast, Trip.com seems to display inverted information. It was available Monday to Friday in the 1600 Club (lower floor of the hotel) but IS NOT available on a weekend.

The hotel is close to the city center, it is very convenient to get in and out, there are many famous restaurants around, the hotel environment is pretty good, but the room price is too small, it feels oppressive, the sound insulation is poor, and you can clearly hear the sound of the corridor and the police cars passing by on the road outside Sound, I guess I won't stay next time, I still prefer hotels near the lake. BUT NO SHOWER! Thanks to the shuttle dude to circle back for me at 10:45pm, and pm desk clerk for helping. Nice room, nice bed. Funky tv remote was sporadic. The water didn’t divert from the tub faucet to the shower head. Barely a dribble. I had no time to call maintenance as the front desk suggested when I alerted them. NO SHOWER! That’s a good 50% of the need for a hotel over a box in a field. The other is the bed. A bathroom, esp the shower! I’d like compensation!
