Barceló Conil Playa - Adults Recommended

The breakfast provides a varied and quality selection in a clean and spacious dining area. The staff is attentive and friendly, offering great service to guests with mobility issues.

I recently stayed at Barcelo Conil Playa, and it was an incredible experience! The highlight of my stay was the room with a direct sea view—waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean was absolutely magical. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was very relaxing, providing the perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

We try and stay in a Barcelo hotel when we travel within Spain and so, when we fancied a getaway for our wedding anniversary, we decided on the Barcelo, Conil, 20 minutes down the road from us. It's a fabulous hotel. Clean, modern and fresh. We had a really good room with a terrace that had two sun loungers, table and chairs and just a few strides away from one of the pools. There were enough loungers around both pools for everyone. On the one occasion there wasn't, the lifeguard brought out more. The breakfast and evening buffets were really good, which included Spanish regional foods and very tasty, healthy fruit shots at breakfast. Hubby is not a great fan of buffets but was very happy with the variety and freshness of the food and the fact there were very few queues. We had our anniversary lunch in Arrozante restaurant which was excellent. We gave the waitress our order, she suggested a slight twist and she was right, it was delicious. The El Roqueo lunch restaurant was okay. The Atunante was not to our liking. Maybe sharper knives to carve the sashimi would have helped. The staff in general were very professional, approachable and funny, though a few should remember that chewing gum while talking to a customer is not a good look! B~Heaven was lovely with great views over the beach and beyond into El Palmar one way and Puerta Conil to the north west. The cocktails looked good and the nightly entertainment suited the laid back vibe the the hotel exudes. Unfortunately, the hotel 3 bars ran out of brandy which I drink all the time with ice. Smacks of bad stock, but no matter, cava it was for a couple of days. I'll phone ahead next time!! We look forward to returning in October for a short break and June next year for a longer stay.
