The best hotel in the Miao Village of the Shasha, a 5-minute walk from the entrance of the Shasha Scenic Area. The room was oversized, and the temperature suddenly cooled down in the past two days. The air conditioning in the room was warm and the family was very satisfied. The view of the room is absolutely first-class, overlooking the entire valley, terraces and the Miao Village of the Shasha. Because it is off-season, there is no catering available, which does not affect the stay experience at all. If you sit in the attic outside the room in May and June with the right temperature, you can feel comfortable all day.

This is an absolutely stunning hotel. I highly recommend you book the cabin with a view to get the full experience. What a gorgeous cabin and beautiful view! It takes around 2,5 hours to get there from Zhaoxing village / Congjiang Train Station (it cost me ¥900 to get there from Zhaoxing village and ¥500 to go to the train station) if you have the energy and money it's definitely worth it. From the hotel it's a 2,5 hour hike along the road to get good views of the rice terraces (and of course 2,5 hours to hike back unless you're lucky to get a ride which I did). There's a restaurant at the hotel as well and I paid ¥15 for noodles, ¥20 for fried rice and ¥6 for a soda 👍 The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful as well! FYI: the cabin is on a cliff with lots of trees around so there will be lots of bugs and insects! A mouse also found it's way in one night but luckily found it's way out again as soon as it saw me and got scared! I did tell the hotel manager. Hopefully she will have a look at that so it won't happen again...

The small B & B building is made of wood, with poor sound insulation, and there is mold in the corner of the bathroom. Considering the difficulty of building terraced fields, it is understandable that the supporting facilities are not bad. It is inconvenient to get in and out.
