Keep driving. Find another place to stay. The desk clerk was nice. The room,as my mom would say, was like a roach motel. Furniture was trash (broken drawers, some off type of top on dresser, drawer pulls missing), things broken off wall, ironing board barely hanging on wall. Chairs filthy. Floor filthy. Heat worked well and towels were clean

First, I should point out that I do not make inflated reviews. A 4-star review is a pretty good review from me. I really get tired of seeing 5-star reviews for average products and services. Econ Lodge is not one of my go to hotel chains but my wife and I ran out of steam at Concordia, MO on a long cross-country drive and decided to stay the night there. From the outside, the Econo Lodge appeared to be a good choice compared to the other limited choices. We were pleasantly surprised with the motel. Fairly basic but all newly refurbished and very clean. Staff was quite friendly and the cost was probably about 1/2 or less than what we would have paid for a similar quality room if we had continued on to Kansas City. The room had a true minifridge plus microwave. Good place to spend a night if you are traveling through on I-70.

The couple running the hotel was very nice, very helpful. The building was very old, some attempts at upgrading but not quite where it needs to be. First room we were offered was apparently a smoking room which we couldn’t stay in. They were helpful moving us to a non-smoking room. The AC worked well until about 11pm, the room was warm. The accessories, soap, etc were not very high quality. But for the price we paid I think the experience was average.

This hotel is almost too nice to be an Econo Lodge. The experience was a bit strange because there was one guy doing everything and we were one per just 4 cars in the lot on a holiday weekend but I hope this hotel succeeds because they clearly take a lot of pride in it. Comfortable beds, clean room, great price. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Basic room, recently completely remodeled. It is now econolodge. My wife is the other review so far. We have stayed twice. All new hard surface flooring,beds and linens. Good tv. Only the first bldg remodel is complete, so second building not yet available. This is a brand new exonolodge remodel so finding the place to review was not easy. The young man who owns the place is very helpful and proud of what he has, so we thought it worth the effort to make sure we gave credit for what he has done. Very nice place to stay in a small place right off highway. Good rates. Will definitely stay again. We travel this area frequently to visit relative in waverly. Very convenient.

The hotel is very nice. All new mattresses. Pillows and linens. New flooring and finishing up some of the touch ups. This place is so comfortable and very quiet. Have enjoyed our stay. We were the first customers and will enjoy many more trips.

Despite what it says on TA, this motel does NOT serve breakfast. When I'm long road traveling I always book hotels with breakfast so I can get going quickly in the morning. The room itself was nice, clean, and quiet but I woke up this morning and I ran the hot water for at least 4 minutes and never even got luke warm water.
