What a great find, Neil and Rose-Marie are lovely friendly hosts. The room we had was superb with nothing missing. Large comfortable bed with lovely bed linen. Breakfast was also good and the sausages served showed their attention to detail (superb) Will I’m sure revisit in the future.

Dower House is the best hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying in in the UK. It is well appointed, comfortable and a real ‘home from home’.We came here as a group for my husbands’s birthday and the weekend was a great success thanks in great part to our hosts Rosemarie & Neil. Lovely people who are welcoming and responsive. Nice breakfasts, an amazing birthday meal cooked by Rosemarie and great service. Well furnished, comfortable rooms with a great shower. A truly memorable weekend. Thank you Rosemarie & Neil. We will be back. Jane & Terry x

Wonderful stay for a family celebration. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived by Neil and Rosemarie. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a lovely setting . We got to meet their lovely Great Danes too. Will definitely return! Thankyou both .

This was a little gem of a find. The hotel and grounds are stunning. Neil and Rosemarie were fabulous hosts, extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was very well decorated with the added bonus of a separate tv room with wardrobe and sofa. Lovely and comfortable. A great place to make the most of the very short drives to visit Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Beer and 5 minutes from River Cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our 5day break here

Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens Plenty parking on site Room very comfortable with little extra touches Tea and coffee machine with fresh milk in small fridge outside room Bed comfy Big shower Relaxing bar area Lovely smell as you walk in to a friendly welcome Can definitely recommend hotel Location in between Lyme regis and sidmouth There is a local bus service not to far away

Just come back from a couple of nights and what a wonderful place. We had such a warm welcome, the house hotel is beautiful and it’s in a great location, close to everything you could want to see. Rooms are beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated. Our shower was just huge!! We can’t thank you enough for looking after us,, Neil & Rosemarie. Thanks for sharing your local knowledge too!

Lovely B&B, a good breakfast with a warm welcome. Situated in a handy spot for sight seeing around Dorset. Well cared for grounds, ample car parking and has a pool available during the day. Nice walk around the near by estate from the county lane opposite the house.

Had an overnight stay and it was wonderful. The owners have really thought of everything. The rooms are beautiful and exceptionally clean and the beds are soft. The bar is a great addition and nothing was too much trouble. Had a great freshly cooked breakfast before leaving. My only negative comment - wish we had stayed longer. Would highly recommend.
