The staff were superb .
Rooms were clean and warm.

Set on a plot of circa 1.5 acres this historic farmhouse provides ample accommodation to house large groups to enjoy the countryside. Steeped in history this property includes the ruins of the 12th century "Church of Smyte" although much of the farmhouse is 18th century red brick. The accommodation is versatile and unique.The property comprises 4 large bedrooms each with the exception of 1 housing 2 king size beds. 2 bedrooms have there own en-suite with the other 2 sharing a bathroom. Downstairs there is a large living room with a traditional open log fire. "I booked it for three night as I had some business in the area. Due to a recent bad experience with a budget hotel, i though might have a better value for the higher price. I was wrong. Very mediocre service, small room, funky odour, and limited amenities. For the anount I paid i expected a better value. Staff were helpful though."

"I live local, but due o having housework done and me being disabled, I was advised it would be beneficial for me to be out of the house for a few days.
I picked Double Tree Hilton as they were offering the best price.
I'm so glad I did. The staff could not do enough for you, especially Wendy, she is such an amazing lady, my 10 year old son said to me how amazing and helpful Wendy was and that says it all."

"The hotel is in a convenient location, with Costa, McDonald's, and TGI Fridays nearby. The staff are friendly and parking is free. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. However, the hotel is a bit old, the bathroom had a bad smell, and the room lighting is very dim. Overall, the price feels a bit high for what you get."

"Very pleasant stay.. pub restaurant offered info on food allergies. Food was great. Rooms (I rebooked) were great, bath and shower that actually did what they said… no getting soaked trying to turn on shower. As a single female traveller, felt safe. Will rebook next visit . Staff are friendly and helpful."
