Servatur Castillo de Sol

Had a weeks stay here. Great location however lots of steep steps down to the bars/restaurants which was fine for us, but something to bear in mind. When we arrived, there was a guy on reception to check us in, he didn’t speak much English however was able to get by with what we needed. They do take your passport to hold until the morning when you can fully check in and told all the information needed, and we got our passports back at this time. We had a room on the top floor, when we first went in we noticed the mirror had fallen off the bathroom wall and had smashed everywhere. We mentioned to reception the following morning when got checked in properly and this was promptly cleaned up and sorted which was good. The room itself was lovely and clean. Had a room with double bed and very big wardrobe with drawers inside. Decent size bathroom with shower, the shower wasn’t the greatest pressure and sometimes went cold, however this is probably to be expected when a lot of people showering at the same time throughout the hotel, so this wasn’t an issue. The main part in room was a Tv which we never used or needed, a couch(assuming this is a sofa bed if required) and a small kitchen space with fridge. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and all the staff were really friendly, kind and helpful. Pool area was always very clean and never an issue to get a sun bed. It states you can’t reserve beds and we were always able to get a sun lounger easily. The pool was a decent size and perfect temperature. The pool bar served a variety of snacks and drinks which we used daily and food was lovely as well as the drinks. The staff at pool bar were friendly also. There’s an animation guy who was present throughout our stay at the hotel, and while we never took part in any of the activities, he was super enthusiastic and included everyone in all the range of activities that were available. Spent a beautiful holiday in one of Dad’s favourite places, surrounded by scenery he loved so much. The hotel was incredible—elegant yet cozy, with breathtaking views, peaceful walks, and warm, welcoming staff. Every moment felt like a tribute to his spirit and the memories we shared.

Amazing hotel Amazing week at the castillo del Sol, staff were very friendly! Bar staff great fun ( especially Dante) hotel getting better every time we return!

Was a good value for money. Comfortable clean hotel and pretty good location. You still have the steps to contend with but it’s still good

February Holiday Really enjoyed our first stay at Castillo Del Sol. Stayed 7 nights. Great location, just minutes from three main entertainment and shopping centres. Nice pool and no problem getting a sunbed. Great pool bar with nice food and all very reasonably priced. All staff very friendly and hardworking. Will definitely return in the future!
