The hotel staff were so kind, and it was especially nice to be able to rent a bicycle at a low price. The pool and facilities were good for the price. In the reviews, there were people who said the room was a bit small, but I had a single double, so it was okay~! Overall, it's close to the airport, and the breakfast quality is so good that I think I'll visit again!

Excellent service and location, extremely pleasant staff, the gentleman at the reception treated us very well, very neat hotel both in the external area and in the rooms, breakfast with a variety of bread, fruits, cereals and juices, all top notch, I will return soon that's for sure

I stayed in the hotel for one night because it was very cheap at 51 euros for bed and breakfast. The location in the second row was ok, it was about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The double room I used in the main building was very small, I wouldn't spend a longer stay here. The rooms on level 0 (one floor above reception at pool level) are very noisy: I was woken up at 7am by loud music as there is a bar on the same level. The breakfast was below average for a 4 star hotel. There was no raw cum or chocolate cream. There are only four German channels on television (RTL, Vox, RTL2, SuperRTL). Overall, the hotel is okay for the price, but there are better hotels on the playa.

At the arrival, we been offered discounted room upgrade that we accepted and we are so happy that we did! The 5th floor junior suite we got had amazing sea view, huge balcony and very big comfy bed. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel but who wouldn't, friendly staff, excellent food at the restaurant, clean room... Only thing that we did not like and what is the reason we will never come back to Palma De Mallorca (this does not have anything to do with the hotel but must be mentioned) is that there is extremely strong bad smell (better say stink) of sewer in the sea water, you can not even lay on the beach as it is so strong. Someone say it is rotting seaweed (yeah, right), but we disagree since we visited so many similar destinations, have vacation home on the Vancouver Island and we know well how rotting seaweed smells, not even similar to this one, this is clearly sewage, probably treated to the some extent, released in the water. So, we ended up to cool down and swim in the hotel pool (that is, BTW, very nice), the whole purpose of our trip to Palma was to spend time on the beach and swim in the seawater, if we wanted to do all that in the pool we would stay at home (and save lots of $$$) since we have nice outdoor inground sized pool.

The hotel offers a modern stay with easy access to the airport, beach and city; although it is located to the east of the city, and so more central locations are a fairly long walk (for example, 30mins to the central bus station) but there is a bus stop located right outside which is helpful. The beach is accessible just across the road which is great. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a great view. Although pushing two single beds together to make a double is not ideal. It would be preferred if this could be selected during booking rather than just being told rooms will either be a double or two singles. Whilst on the whole neighbours could not be heard, there were a couple of incidents of shouting/partying from the room next door which travelled through in the early hours of the morning. The rooftop pool shuts very early, 7pm, which was a shame if wanting a sunset swim, even if this means it is not staffed for all hours. Equally there are no changing facilities so you need to get ready in your room then move through the hotel to the pool, which is not ideal for some. The rooftop bar was good. A good selection of options were provided for breakfast, although the area got very busy so further information on when the quieter times are expected would be beneficial for those wishing to miss the crowds. Clear access to stairs would be good as even though there are four lifts, you seem to spend a long time waiting for them. Hotel staff were friendly, professional and helpful throughout the stay. If I was attending a conference at the connected convention centre I would stay here again.

Although it was a little far from the city, it was really clean and I had a great experience. The sunset seen from the top floor of the hotel was so beautiful that it was a memory that will last a lifetime! There is a sauna, so we recommend bringing your swimsuit.

The AC Hotel de Palma is about 5 mins walk to the marina and then approx. 10 mins along the seafront promenade, known as Paseo Maritimo to the Cathedral and Old Town. Alternatively, we made a left out of the hotel and walked into the old town area, with restaurants and chic boutiques also within 10-15 mins. Thank you David for making our check in easy and for providing us with a lovely room (502) with a view out to the water and towards the cathedral which became illuminated at night. Thanks for dealing with our attempts to speak the language too. The hotel rents bikes which are very comfortable to ride. We biked up to the rare circular Bellver Castle about 30 mins away. Well worth the uphill haul to the top to to see out towards the city of Palma, the coastline in front and the mountainous terrain behind it. We also road along waterfront towards the airport and past sandy beaches, marinas and cafes. At times the bike path got very busy with bike traffic and scooters, but the ride was well worth the sea views too. The hotel bar area with its vegetative green wall and open concept was a lovely way to unwind with a glass of wine in the evenings. Thank you to all for making our stay so relaxing and easy-going!!

We stayed at El Llorenc last week for three nights to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. On arrival we were upgraded to a junior suite, with a bottle of fizz and chocolates. The suite was amazing, immaculately clean and the cleaner did an excellent job every day. The room had everything we wanted and when we called room service firstly for extra hangers and then again for an iron, they were brought immediately to our room. The pool and pool bar was lovely with a stunning view. I used the gym every morning and it was well equipped and open 24 hours. The spa looked very nice but we didn’t use it. Breakfast had a great selection of cold stuff, plus a few hot dishes to order, again really nice. The standout thing about this hotel is the staff. They go out of their way to help you, from the pool bar to reception to breakfast room. We dealt mainly with Claudia and we have to say what a lovely person she was. Always with a smile and always ready to help or advise; she is a big asset to this hotel. We hopefully will return to this stunning hotel. Xx
