La Huella is a relatively new purpose-built hostal on the verge of the San Martín del Camino hamlet. It is on the N-120 but the acoustic insulation of the rooms, even those on the front, is excellent and the road noise is almost completely shielded. It offers both dormitory accommodations and private rooms. It is surrounded by a well kept grass area with a nice pool and a large, covered area for cloths drying. As a nice touch, the hostel has also a relatively large library and few table games for the guests. The private room we were given was small but spotlessly clean and furnished in a very nice and efficient way, with an eye also to cool design! Bed was comfortable. As a minor remark, a soap dispenser should be added also to the sink and the tap in our room was defective, although somehow more or less working. The pilgrim menu offered was tasty and fairly priced, although the choice was very limited. Slightly more choice was available for breakfast. Highly recommended.
