A very warm and homely establishment, we felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay here. The owners introduced themselves to us and showed us around the house. Clean and very comfortable rooms with everything you'd want from a period ages establishment. Over and above any other B n B we've recently had the privilege of staying at. Also offering a great breakfast choice... no complaints whatsoever.

Lovely setting in the village. Large well laid out Garden Really friendly Atmosphere. Made welcome from the start by the attentive owners. Bedroom has plenty of room and comfortable bed. Very nice En Suite .Really good choices for breakfast in a well laid out Breakfast room, Very comfortable Lounge area,. Easy reach of the village shops and Public Transport if required.Ideally situated for the Seaton Tramway. I would definitely recommend the White Cottage to everyone

Spotlessly clean, cosy, friendly staff, fresh milk and bottled cold water daily, excellent breakfast. Charming historical thatched cottage in the heart of the village, only 50m from the local pub. Perhaps beware if you are tall (some low beams) or infirm (uneven flooring in places)

An absolutely delightful, welcoming and comfortable experience from start to finish. We booked 3 rooms for 3 adult couples and Steve & Donna could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. All the rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable and amenities (including wi-fi) spot on. All our needs( including my own rather taxing dietary requirements) were accommodated with grace. The house is a lovely 15th/16th building with quirky shapes, beams and interesting angled floors. There is a very pretty private garden (to be used), a comfortable breakfast dining room, bright sitting room and most conveniently, a private car park. I cannot recommend The white Cottage enough. Thank you Donna and Steve.

We stayed for one night whilst attending a family funeral. When we explained the circumstances, the hosts couldn't have been more helpful and sympathetic. The rooms are lovely with a high-end yet characterful feel. There's a very pleasant garden and a convenient parking area. Breakfast was help-yourself cereal and fruit etc followed by freshly cooked orders - all of a very high quality. The location in central Colyton is perfect for pubs, shops etc. Thoroughly recommended!

Absolutely delightful stay. Steve and Donna could not have b more n more accommodating. The room was spotless, comfortable and with many details executed. We cannot recommend The White Cottage enough. And if you’re in town for dinner The Kingfisher was excellent too.
