READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS TOO Waited 40 minutes to check in as they said my room was "still being cleaned". Their behavior was rather dismissive and defeated such that they didnt offer up anything other than water as compensation...that was the first clue. While I'm in the lobby waiting a guy came down and started complaining about not getting room service for a whole week. Come to find out they're short staffed and 1 cleaning person is employed for the entire building. My other coworkers failed to even check in as they said they didn't have any rooms available, which probably means no rooms are clean, and at this point we checked out and found a new hotel. 1 of our coworkers had to stand and wait in their lobby for 3 hours to make sure we didn't get charged for the rooms, and to his credit we were not charged and were refunded.

I recently had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Homewood Suites by Hilton – Easton, OH, which has made me question Hilton’s reputation for reliability and customer service. I made a confirmed reservation at this property and embarked on a 6-hour drive, expecting the dependable service Hilton is known for. However, upon arrival at 9 PM, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled. To make matters worse, the only notification provided was an email sent hours after the check-in time, which I couldn’t access while driving. At first, the front desk staff claimed I never had a reservation—a blatantly false assertion. When I showed them proof of my confirmed booking, they admitted it had been canceled but offered no explanation, and no assistance in finding alternate accommodations. Their behavior was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. To compound the frustration, my complaint to Hilton Honors went nowhere. They simply claimed they were forwarding the issue to the hotel, which was the very property that had already shown no interest in resolving the situation. Repeated calls to Hilton Honors yielded no results, no accountability, and no support at all. Having been a loyal Hilton customer for 30+ years, I can confidently say this is the worst experience I’ve ever had across any travel brand, worldwide. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism, communication, and care that I encountered, and I strongly caution other travelers to think twice before booking this property.

This hotel has a history for at least a year with constant car break ins. The weekend we were there, at least a dozen cars had their windows smashed, and we came to find out that this has been happening constantly at the property and nothing- such as parking lot security- is ever done. The staff didn’t care at all, and the frequency with which this happens made us wonder if staff is involved. Absolutely avoid this hotel.

The car break-ins are an inside job by the actual owner to try and decrease property value. The police know and are refusing to prosecute. It is an embezzlement practice. This company Middletown management is misappropriating funds and taking kickbacks. This property is in foreclosure. They hire the severely disabled to manage (GMs) the properties as a cover. Every GM is ill equipped to make any decisions. Do not stay at any of their properties. Please do your research prior to visiting the area. You do not want a Davidson OR a Middletown property in the Greater Columbus Area. Trust. Good Luck.

Hotel was recently renovated. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Room had full kitchen in it which would be nice if staying longer. Hotel is connected to Hilton Garden as well. Only 1 elevator was working which caused some delays going from 1st floor to 7th floor. Would stay here again. Close to shops at Easton but would need to drive and park.

This was the worst hotel experience I've had in a long time. This was my second stay here, but it was so much better 18 months ago. Now it seems that no one cares. This place is a filthy sticky mess. First I would give 5 starts to the front desk staff. The night audit guy did everything he could within his power to make my stay as good as it could be. Same wit the 60 something lady on days over the weekend. I can't recall their names, and apparently name tags aren't required at this Hilton property but they deserve some credit for trying their best with what they we're given. Now for the bad, and there is plenty. This place is filthy and unsanitary. Hilton needs to send someone from corporate to this hotel which is operated by Middletown Hotel Management. 48 Million Dollars to build and this place is not unlike a 20 year old Super 8 or Motel 6. First off, the snack area in the lobby is empty. Hardly anything available to purchase, and no beer and wine available like there was during my first stay. No Water offered at check-in as a HHonors member. Everything here is sticky. The hall outside the elevator bank was sticky. Inside the elevator was sticky and disgusting. The halls are being mopped with dirty mop heads which we witnesses one day while leaving the property for the day. The lobby smelled like a dirty mop. The elevators contain months worth of finger prints. No one is cleaning the elevator buttons. Inside the room, dirty finger prints and dirty water stains on the inside of the entry door and bathroom door. The floor was sticky from where something was spilled by a previous guest. The floor had not been swept or mopped. The tub contained short black hairs from a previous guest. The commode had someones posterior sweat mark on it. The bathroom floor had not been swept. The carpet in the room was disgusting and obviously is not shampooed with any regular cadence. The kitchenette was missing more then half of it's cookware and utensils based on what is stocked at other Homewood Suites I've stayed in. There were only 2 sets of towels, and there were none available at the front desk or in laundry, so I had to hunt the halls for a housekeeper to bum a couple of towels. The breakfast room on a Saturday morning displayed guests standing around waiting for food to be refilled and post-it notes from staff who apparently is calling the shots on what cups can be used for hot or cold drinks. At 8AM. there were no potatoes, some very runny oatmeal, no protein available, and no muffins. What was available were waffles, toast, hardboiled eggs, and drinks. Bright Green Bananas, very little cereal, in the dispensers, and no breakfast attendant to be found. Someone here doesn't care. Maybe it's the GM. Maybe it's housekeeping, but this starts at the top with whoever is managing this place. Training and standards need to be followed and there clearly aren't any in place here. Maybe Hilton should let someone takeover that cares about the guest experi

Rooms were not ready at 3:00. We got one of our two rooms around 3:45. Had to move into other rooms later. Breakfast was non-existent and anything left at 9:00 was cold. No fruit, no waffles, etc. Had to take our group of 9 out to breakfast. Hotel was sold out with insufficient staff. Manager did not return my calls to explain any of the above.

This Homewood Suites (which shares the staff and structure with a Hilton Garden Inn) is relatively new construction, and the rooms themselves are my favorite in the area for extended stays. I love having the (somewhat) complete kitchen, which gives me the ability to store frozen foods and cook in a skillet. The location is very convenient to all of the Easton shopping; however, the placement of the property does require entry into the parking lot from inconvenient traffic directions. The hotel staff are typically quite friendly; however, it is my distinct impression that they really do not have their act together as far as hotel management. During my most recent (2-week) stay: I began the stay with almost fully depleted paper towels and toilet paper, with no spares for either provided in the room. The conditioner was completely empty, and the shampoo ran out within a couple of days. It is my standard practice to purchase a new skillet when I begin a stay (kitchenware in hotels is always cheaply made and abused), but I also had to get a spatula this time. There were an abundance of forks, but only one spoon, and a single tall wine glass that didn't fit in any of the cabinets. Most other hotels also include an extra blanket and pillow in the closet, but I don't think I've ever seen any here. On the second morning I received a check-out email, even though my reservation was for two full weeks -- had to call the desk and fix that. One day, I came back to my room to find a hospitality letter left on the table -- which was clearly meant for some other person in some other room. The letter did tell me that the hotel performs room service on Thursdays; other than delivery of the letter, I never saw any indication that anyone came in my room - there certainly was never any service performed. Most of the consumables were empty or already gone very early in my stay. On Saturday morning at 5:30 am, the fire alarm went off. A hotel full of guests piled into the lobby and covered area, as it was also pouring rain outside! I think the guests were more composed than the employees, who were frantically running around insisting it was not their fault. The fire department finally showed up, the alarm got turned off, and we were dismissed to our rooms with a "false alarm". The following Wednesday AND Friday mornings at 6:00 am the fire alarm went off AGAIN (however this time it seems they figured out how to silence it quickly -- but that doesn't really remove the early disruption of sleep.) I've stayed in several different rooms at this property, and they all seem to have some weird electrical wiring design with the lighting -- it can take some experimentation to figure out how to successfully turn on some lights, so don't give up too early. In my latest room, it took me some time to figure out that the thermostats were reversed -- each one controlled the air unit in the opposite room. This made for some very strange and unproductive behavior f
