First, Mercedes who checked us in was super nice, friendly and helpful. We travel on a motorcycle and I'm constantly losing my headband. She found it and knew it was mine. THANK YOU, Mercedes! Now housekeeping the next morning was very anxious. Checkout was at noon and they knocked twice before 10am. The third time, I was in the bathroom and they didnt hear me say that so they came in. Always good to close the bathroom door even if you are alone....LoL. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was acceptable.

Dangerous area. No security cameras. Sketchy people. Car broken into and found out this happens frequently. No WIFI. Broken TV’S and not fixed Lousy breakfast. Loud by the highway. How can this continue? Managers need to fired. Reporting to CH.

My fiancé and I booked a last minute stay on Christmas Day at the Fairfield Inn in Columbus, MS due to car trouble that kept us in the area overnight. The associate at the front desk worked with me to reserve a room on the first floor right by an entrance, which was my preference due to mobility issues that I have. After getting a great night's sleep in the very comfortable bed, we checked out around 7:30 the next morning and addressed the car trouble before getting on the road around 11:00. We had made it about 20 minutes outside of town when we realized that we left two Christmas card money holders on the desk that each contained a $100.00 bill that we had received as a Christmas gift. I called the hotel to ask if housekeeping had found them by chance, and she let me know that the housekeeper, Penny Butler, had found them while cleaning the room and turned them in at the front moments before I called looking for them. We were able to retrieve the cards and thank Penny personally for turning them in. Penny is a beautiful person inside and out and the best employee any company could have. She deserves all the good that this life has to offer. We have stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Columbus many times through the years and will continue to do so when in the area because we are always treated like family and have wonderful experiences there. Thank you again, Penny for being such a great person!

Tried to check in at 5:00 PM room wasn't ready. The person at the desk nor the manager could give me an ETA on when the room was ready. We had somewhere to be. Had to go to another hotel and spend $150 more on a room and was lucky to get that.....game weekend. Lady at desk also could have cared less.

Room smelled like smoke Asked for an extra pillow. Was greeted with “we don’t have extra pillows”. Never heard that from a Marriott property in 30 years staying in them This property should be reviewed 1 starr

It was not good. The toilet ran all night and we could not use it. We asked the front desk (Margo I think) to look into to it at 5pm. We return and 11:00 pm it was not fixed. The person at the desk tried to help us but was not successful but offers to move us to another room and charge us another $100. It was 1 am so we stayed where we were for we returned to the room and the person helping us somehow locked us out of the room and we couldn't get the door open for a while. Also a couple of weeks earlier another of my reservations was cancelled due to over booking and that process to find another hotel was just unbelievably bad.

This hotel cancelled my reservation at 9:00pm after I had already checked in on the app at 4pm. When I arrived at midnight expecting to go to sleep, I instead had to drive to Tupelo to the nearest hotel with a vacancy. Unacceptable.

We are Titanium Elite Bonvoy members and we’re charged $175 for pet fees/cleaning and don’t even own pets! Am going through Marriott Bonvoy to file claim and disputing charged on our card. Have your room inspected by management before checking out!!!

Here’s a list of things that were bad with this hotel The pool and it’s lack of safety. First of all it was dirty and cloudy. You can go straight out the door , to the pool (no card access needed)and the most terrible thing is that there’s is no lock on the gate. Very dangerous for kids! Also , it is right by the parking lot and anyone can come and go from there. NO GATE! So dangerous! I can’t believe they can get away this. Only 2 elevators and one was not working. Dirty furniture and floors. Some outlets didn’t work. The TV volume would not get loud enough. Broken blind , just fell off when I tried to adjust it. 2 positives. Cold , constant a/c and breakfast. If you have kids , stay elsewhere or keep your eyes on them constantly around the pool.
