Sleep Inn & Suites Columbus Next to Fort Moore

Interior of property is clean and modern design. Fitness center was surprisingly equipped, not just your regular treadmill. Exterior of property was also kept clean. Parking was easy and driving in and out of the property was very convenient even with some traffic. Staff was friendly, respectful, and professional.

Overall it was a pretty good stay. Beds were nice and comfy. Rooms were clean. Day staff and maids were super nice! Now the night lady was extremely rude and was more worried about messing with her phone or talking on her phone. Even held a hand up in my sons face and said "im not speaking to you no more" and asked his gf what she needed. When they were trying to explain she had left something in the room we mived from (bc we extended our stay and swapped rooms). And the prior nice he tried to get snacks and the same lady told him, "i get off in 5 minutes, im not doing anything right now, you will have to wait on the next person" very rudely. Everyone else was amazing. Area wise its "okay", just be aware of your surroundings outside at night, bc people walk up and down the main road nearby.

Room had a odor and did not smell clean but our stay was ok overall. The scenic area surrounding the hotel was not that pleasant.

There is no late check out! To stay an extra 30 minutes is 50$ that is one thing that was very inconvenient to our trip.

The door lock was jammed, floor was cracked and lifted could fall the bathroom was dirty and there is a bad odor in the room

Great value for the price. We just needed a place to sleep the night before helping our Army son move from Ft. Moore to Texas. Clean room, super comfortable bed, good enough (free) breakfast, great price.

From check-in until check-out, we had trouble with our keys. The front desk would key them for our rooms, but they wouldn't register. We would be locked out of our room randomly and I would have to go back down to the front desk and get them reset. This happened several times. Housekeeping did not come through our room, so I had to empty trash and visit the front desk for additional towels. Minor inconvenience. The lock on my room's bathroom was not functional. This would not have been a big issue had I been alone. However, I was traveling with my daughter and we had to make sure that the other person knew that we would be using the restroom to avoid awkward situations. Upon returning one night, we went to our room and, as previously mentioned, our keys wouldn't work. When I went down to the front desk, a sign was placed that said that the attendant would return in 5 minutes. The back office door was open and shortly after I arrived a phone call (speaker phone) began. The attendant spoke with a man about plans involving alcohol and sexual activity loud enough to be heard at the front desk. I honestly don't care what people do or talk about on their breaks, but I thought it was unprofessional to have the door open and be on speaker phone where the lobby could hear the personal details of the call. Overall, the stay was disappointing. When I visit Columbus again, I'll be staying elsewhere.

I liked my stay. It was clean, convenient location for my reason of staying in Columbus. The staff was nice as well.
