Columbus Marriott

Great place to stay for events at the River Center. Could walk to restaurants and shops downtown. I would recommend.

This place was very clean and staff were friendly. The check in process was quick and painless. The work out area was a little outdated but served the purpose. The extra charge for parking is a little much. This place is near excellent places to eat and have coffee. We walked everywhere because it was so close.

Well we didn’t actually make the booking on the 21st as we arrived at 9am on the 22nd and travelled 15 hours driving because of the conditions but because of ******* booking we couldn’t transfer to 22nd so we just booked it with Hotel - hotel were great ******* not so great as we should have been able to use the credit as we didn’t make the booking due to enforceable circumstances

Everything was wonderful staff is very friendly, breakfast buffet was one of the best ones I had. This is the place I will be staying there again for sure

Not So Merry At The Marriott I had a 2 night stay at the GA Columbus Marriott. The first night the water was lukewarm both sink and shower. The next day the sink had only cold water and the shower was moderately warm. That was not a relaxing shower at all. The shower flooring was very dirty. In fact, I went out and bought a pair of flip flops just to wear in the shower. On the first night, I called for room service and no one picked up the phone. I ended up going downstairs and ordering my food to go. I ordered tomatoe basil soup and a club sandwitch. That took 37 minutes! I will not stay here again on my next trip yo Columbus GA.

It’s the middle of winter and after coming back to my room last night when I was done with my event at the trade center next-door I just wanted to take a nice hot shower before bed. Unfortunately my room had zero hot water. I let it run for 20 plus minutes and nothing. I called the front desk and she informed me she let maintenance know but no apologies or resolutions nothing. Even though the venue itself is beautiful and clean you pay too much to stay and not have hot water and when you’ve informed someone of the issue, they don’t offer to fix it or move you to a room that has hot water. It was too late at night so I didn’t wanna argue with anybody. I just took a cold shower and went to sleep. I definitely don’t plan on staying here again, although I loved it initially. Upon check out another guest informed me that they had the same issue. If you guys were aware that you had no hot water, you should’ve had a sign up and warned guest upon check-in and they could’ve been offered a refund to stay somewhere else. Columbus has plenty of nice hotels.
