Kozy Haven Log Cabin Rentals

First off the bat, their website is very deceiving. The cabins are very close together and close to a busy road. You will hear road noise all night. Upon arrival, we noticed our cabin was not filthy, but the counter was not wiped down, there were cob webs from the ceiling beams and a blind in our bedroom had not been cut to the right size. Therefore it was hanging off the window sill. The first day we were there, we received a text about extending our stay another night for $75. I ignored it. The second day, I received the same text about staying an additional night for $75. I ignored it again. When it was time to check out, we left the cabin much cleaner than when we arrived. After we were gone for about an hour I received a text saying we were responsible for the blind in the bedroom hanging down and we would be charged. I politely text them and said we left it the way we found it. They would not listen and amazingly enough said the blind would cost us $75. The same amount that they kept hounding us for over our stay for an additional night. I kept arguing with them about this bogus charge. They kept getting more rude and obnoxious and even asked if I was mentally stable just for sticking up for our rights. They ended up charging $100 to my bank account for their blind. Bottom line is please listen to this warning that these people that own this place are crooks and cons and will rip you off! AVOID STAYING HERE! YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF AS WELL! I hope that karma catches up with these scumbags and this place will go bankrupt!

Love this place. If you are looking for a very peaceful relaxing place away from the everyday hustle this is it. It was very clean and the owner is very helpful and accommodating with any of your needs.

Amazing place to stay to just get away from big city's and its close to alot including beautiful lake cumberland. Staff is super friendly check in and out made very easy..when I go to this area again will definitely stay here and I recommend the same to others

My husband and I are Floridians and love the warm weather. We wanted to spend a long weekend with our son who is renting one of the Kozy cabins long term. It was March and blistering cold. I must say our experience was delightful. We rented the cabin next door to him. The cabin was well equipped with plenty of blankets and pillows. There's a mini refrigerator to stock your items like coffee creamer, hot dogs, steak or other items you may want to use by the firepit . The cabin has a coffee maker and coffee, a microwave, S and P, sugar, napkins, plates, silverware, pans, dishwashing liquid etc. The bedding was clean as were the towels. The entire cabin, both downstairs and in the loft was spotless and comfy. It's located in a very safe environment with a wooded area in the back and a circular driveway in the front so you always have view of anyone coming and going. No traffic whatsoever. The moonlight shines thru the windows on the loft bed. It's beautiful. We will positively go there again. Our hosts Ross and Jenny did a wonderful job making us feel welcomed. A perfect getaway.

I wish 0/5 was an option. Canceled our reservation booked aug 26 for sept 3-4. Stating there was no way I had confirmation, turns out I did but didn't matter the owner had nothing available or working. Told me I would receive my money next week and my family was out of luck on a place to stay on a busy Holiday weekend.

Deeply disappointed. The room I stayed at was definitely not worth what I spent on it, which was a decent amount. It was old and kind of smelly and there were stains all over the curtains. I was rly looking forward to staying here and it’s just pretty disappointing. The pictures online are pretty misleading, too. The rooms are a lot smaller and darker than they appear.
