Photos on website not recent. Very much in need of updating. Sheets were stained and hopefully laundered. Toilet clogged as well as the sink. Stained towels. No hot water even after letting it run for several minutes. No breakfast but a grab-n-go with coffee and water, even though their website says they offer one. Got locked out of our room, twice, and needed to get new keys. So, don’t stay more than one night. Staff was very apologetic but the owners need to do some serious improvements.

The motel was clean, which was extremely important to us. The bathroom toilet flushed quite slowly. The breakfast left more to be desired. It consisted of bread, cereal (one canister was empty, but there was more), milk, yogurt, coffee, and juice.

All of the staff I interacted with were very friendly. This was quite a deal. Hard to find a better price these days. You get what you pay for but for but great access to the mountains. It was also very convenient that this had pet friendly options.

Clerk double charged me, room was filthy. No one changed the sheets, hair all over the shower, nasty socks found hanging in the coat closet, cold shower knob didn’t work. Only hot water. Had to change rooms at 1 am because I couldn’t shower. Clerk was a purple hair gage earring boy who didn’t want be there. Avoid at all costs. Still going thru problems with ******* to get the double charge dropped.

The room was filthy. Dirt and stains on the bedding. Dirt on the floor. What looked like dried blood in the drawer of the night stand. The chairs had rips and were dirty. The lampshades were chipped and stained. The bathroom counter had burn stains. The ENTIRE hotel smells dingy and like cigarette smoke. I left the hotel to stay somewhere else after seeing the condition of the room.

This place is perfect for a quick turn around in a perfect location. If you want a clean bed and a hot shower and a bagel or bowl of cereal on the way out, this is the place. The building is a bit dated and there are no frills, but the staff is very efficient and friendly! John handed me milk for my cereal before I even had time to ask. Outstanding!

We had no hot water to take a shower in the morning and of course it was to late to inform anyone because we were checking out that morning…the door was already open when we went to the room, which was odd…lights shown in the window from the courtyard/hallway because the curtains were poor which made it hard to sleep.

The view of the mountain, and the rooms are dated but kept up well and clean. Breakfast is available but limited. It’s a safe stop off for a road trip and if you’re going to see the landmark Bishops Castle then it is perfect. I love the staff they are lovely.
