This is a lovely friendly and very comfortable family run hotel with an amazing gelateria attached. The room I had was perfect, with great AC and a little terrace for taking in the evening sun. The hotel even provides the loan of beach umbrellas, essential when it was as hot as it was during my trip. Street parking is free, also very handy.

Now this place became a three star hotel boutique hotel and we have to admit: well done Sir. Compared to other places around he invested a bunch of money improving his place. The rooms are nice, well equipped and with cozy beds. Cleaning is done each day, quick and clean. The WiFi works perfectly. The breakfast is delicious, fresh made warm dishes included. There is nothing we can complain about except the air-condition which is too noisy. However, since it is one of these single-room installed one, you cannot expect them to be really quiet. We recommend a visit of this hotel.

It's hard to describe how much I loved this hotel. Everything was perfect from the start to the end of my stay. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and they were happy to let me practice my very basic Spanish (I'm still learning) although they also spoke perfect English. The room (I had a single) was ideal, very comfortable and clean, with a lovely little balcony that got sun all morning. The gelateria downstairs is a delight. I made it a rule to have gelato from there every day, it's so incredible. There's also a bakery round the corner, Panaderia Pons, where you can get incredible ensaimadas, fresh out of the oven. The little cove around the corner, Cala Galiota, is a dream. If I ever return to Colónia (I hope I will), I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful place. Everything you need is there, very close to the beach. The apartment was new, fresh, super-equipped. Great, sunny terrace. I highly recommend :) Very delicious ice cream, great restaurant, breakfast. The town itself is also great, beautiful beaches and promenade.

Best hostal on Mallorca, better than "hotels" with much more "stars". Very tasty food when you book even halfpension. Beest icecream on the island too. :-) The hostal owner Juan makes the ice cream by himself. don´t miss it!

We had a gorgeous 5 night stay at the Colonial. Staff really helpful and always on hand if you need them. Room was very clean with good size bathroom, plenty of storage space and a little balcony to sit out. Breakfast was delicious. The ice cream was amazing and became our daily treat. Hotel is perfectly located. A short walk to the port, beach, supermarket and plenty of bars/restaurants. An added bonus was the hotel hired beach towels which was great for us as we only had hand luggage and wanted to chill on the beach most days. Overall we were really impressed with this hotel. It was exactly how it was advertised on the website & booking was also very easy. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff.

It was our first time visiting Mallorca and we could not be more impressed with our overall experience! The Boutique Hostal Colonial was located close to the beach and near all of the activities the town had to offer. The hotel was clean and the rooms were neat and comfortable. The staff was remarkably friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

What can I say but Truly amazing. The staff were amazing , friendly and very helpful, and always smiling. The rooms are immaculately clean. Food was fantastic I loved the pastries at breakfast, and couldn’t fault the food at all especially the Ice cream. A fantastic selection of wines as well. First class place. Best Hostal on Mallorca. Feels like a five star hotel. Easy booking via Hostal homepage. Very good food and absolutly best ice cream on Mallorca, probably in complete Spain. Transfer with "Jose" is easy and works always perfectly.
