Arrived in a hot sweaty mess from Nice. Warm welcome, lovely room and cool pool. Perfect. Service remained superb throughout, tortured several staff with my French, but at least got some practice. Breakfast was good. As it's a bit out on it's own, if on a bike we also had dinner and lunch here. Very good food, nice wine, good service. Need to book as it's rightly, very popular.

It is a delight to be welcomed into a space that is such a labor of love for its proprietors. This passion project is incredibly well-executed. The hotel is experiencing a carefully considered gradual renovation at a fairly rapid pace. The current owners acquired the property in 2022 after it was owned and run by one family for the prior sixty years. The lobby and grounds evoke the peaceful French countryside although the hotel is less than half an hour from Nice. The service is warm and accommodating. Although we came for the hotel, we would be remiss if we did not mention the wonderful restaurant. Every dish is carefully conceived and delicious. We loved every course of the two meals we ate there and particularly enjoyed the fresh home grown vegetable.s This hotel is a beautiful peaceful easy escape into the countryside.

A lovely Auberge, 40 minutes bus-ride from Nice. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Colomars, overlooking the mediterranean Alps on one side and the sea on the other side. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. I had a lovely view from my balcony. Excellent restaurant.

Went with my wife her brother and his wife for a short break, they had been before when the hotel was owned and run by an older lady who I was told only spoke French, it has however been taken on by a younger married couple who have started an upgrade to the building and grounds, they and most of the staff speak English and all are friendly and helpful, the hotel is sited outside of Nice and a bus run down and back is 3euro per person. some of the building and its decor is tired as I said it is being renovated it is clean and light and the views are good, the breakfast is a continental style, dinner can be had at the hotel and I would recommend booking as it was very well used including some locals. all in all a very nice break well aided by the owners and staff there.

A unknown jewel in the north countryside of Nice. 20 mins away by bus. Visited 5 times and recent new owners have continued with the very high family orientated theme whilst refurbishing the complex. A great base to explore Nice and surrounding area. Arrive Nice airport and you can use the Tram to Magnam then a No 62 Bus to Colomars. One bus terminates at the hotel and another continues up to Aspermount. All for €1.50 bargain. Price includes breakfast and extra is the al a carte evening meal. Boy great food try the profiteroles!! . Rooms with fridge and soon to be installed A/c. Hotel is mainly used by business people so quiet during the day. Small food shops in the village. A true Gem. You would pay double this price in central Nice . I hope the new owners continue to prosper and don’t change that bit of magic the hotel has

Very friendly hotel & staff. Initially we booked ten rooms, due to sickness two rooms cancelled. No problem whatsoever. Restaurant was excellent & flexible with regards to any special wishes. All staff were outstanding, friendly, quick & professional.

Sticky Rooms, bed are not comfy at all, extremely inappropriate bathrooms, cracks on the ceramics and cracks on the toilet vase, mouldy bath room (An absolutely refurbishment needed in all rooms and bathrooms). However they got an outstanding terrace and swimming pool. The food at the restaurant is good and needs a lot of creativity, the breakfast buffet hasn't got anything wow factor. but they got a good supplier of bread. The wine list are very expensive. The new owner are young and will need a lot to do , slowly and surely. A bit of lack of communication. However there's a waiter named ''Christopher'' an outstanding gentleman he is a such great asset for the Auberge.

A very pleasant lunch on the terrace. An excellent sea bass ceviche followed by a very successful grilled beef fillet. A small downside for the Pavlova. Overall the meal was very good. However a small downside for the service which although very pleasant would gain from being a little more professional given the quality of the cuisine and the prices charged.
