A real treat - a 5 star experience for a 3 star price. Ideal quiet getaway. Couldn't really fault this place as far as quality, service, pool area, gardens and the rooms. Its a smaller adults only hotel with about 15 rooms all recently refurbished to a high standard. Maid cleaning every day, breakfast included in the room rate. Onsite spa was very reasonably priced and the ladies really enjoyed it. You need a car here for sure. It's 25 min drive to Verona, 40 mins drive to Lake Garda, and an hour+ train ride to Venice (from San Bonifacio station - 15 mins drive from hotel). 2 hours to Milan. We loved Villa Zoppi's proximity to Soave town, and Valpolicella wine region too. The hotel doesn't serve dinner (but does do snacks and lunch up to about 7pm) so they provided an approved list of about a dozen good restaurants close by or as far as Verona. Staff were excellent, well informed and attentive. Cleaning was excellent. Breakfast excellent. The lounge area was quite small with room for only 4-6 guests so generally only one group at a time - that was the only thing we could fault. We'd go back for sure.
